P.S. Cricketers Arms is brewed by Asahi Beverages. A lot of 'purists' wouldn't even consider it craft beer.
I won't be voting. I don't drink anywhere near enough craft beer to have a relevant opinion. You may not like the Scorcher if you don't like 'fruitier' style beers.
I hope you and @Gary Gutful will be voting in the Top 100 Craft Beers? https://www.gabsfestival.com/gabs-hottest-100-2017-aussie-craft-beers-vote-now
The winner last year was Stone and Wood Pacific Ale if I'm not mistaken. To be honest, I'm not that big a fan of it.
That's probably why it tastes alright.P.S. Cricketers Arms is brewed by Asahi Beverages. A lot of 'purists' wouldn't even consider it craft beer.
Don't let that stop you.I don't drink anywhere near enough craft beer to have a relevant opinion.

Yep, seems to be the way it’s going. 4Pines was recently bought out by AB InBev for an astronomical amount.Yeah true, but there's plenty of the old small time craft brewers that are owned by the big players. Otherwise most of them wouldn't get the market exposure.
At 7.8% alcohol I dare say the reason you can't vote for it 100 times is because you're struggling to sit up straight.Get on this one. If I could vote for it 100 times I would.

That's a bit fancy isn't it? Never heard of meffo with cordial?I'm enjoying the cool of Thredbo (there's still snow at the top), and, while cooking have been indulging in the following:
- Kraken and coke
- Shaw / Smith Sauv. Blanc
- Australis Gin and Tonic
- Some German Weiss beer that some German left in my house.
All have been very good.
Tomorrow I'm opening a few from my cellar:
Penfolds 1998 Bin 128
Chateau Tahbillk 1996 Shiraz.
Then I think I'll finish my bottle of Rutherglen Muscat.
Then I'll have brunch.

Rutherglen Muscat is the best.
Sun dried tomato? ... you f**kin snobI've decided to have a quiet christmas at home. Might cut a few pieces of coon cheese up and lay it on a cracker with a sun dried tomato.
