What about when he played for Perth? They finished on top of the table, but lost the final in 2011-12.

Who'd be a bowler these days??? The wickets are a joke, the best game all summer was the Adelaide test when there was actually a contest between bat and ball.

It's compounded by the fact that the 2 genuinely quick guys (Cummins, Starc) are out. Cummins was consistently really quick in the one day series in the UK.

Any of you guys been to Fiji? Which part is the best? I have heard mixed reviews. Family and I would like a top shelf resort and nice beaches etc. I heard Denaru for about 5 days and one of the islands for another 5 would be nice.

Going late July early August.

I've been to Fiji a few times.

The best experience we ever had was on Blue Lagoon Cruise. It holds maybe 100 punters and you park in shallow coves at night, snorkel, drink beer etc.

Otherwise you can stay on the mainland at Sheraton etc or just off it at Denaru. I'd prefer an Island in the Mamanuca group. A long time ago we stayed at Musket Cove. IIRC we flew in to Plantation Island in a 4 seater.

Otherwise I have also stayed at Naviti Resort on the Coral Coast (?). That place was OK. IIRC it was an all up price like Club Med, where you get all food and drink. Good if you are on a budget cos you are at times captive to these resorts and their rip-off restaurant prices.

I've stayed on the coral coast about 10 years ago and on the mamanucas last July. My priority was surfing so didn't stay anywhere fancy but I'd recommend the mamanuca islands. The people are super friendly, weather was great and the surf pumped. Heaps of resorts to choose from and not far from the mainland.

Will probably be heading back this july

Thinking about ditching Foxtel and just getting the sports package and getting NetFlix?

Anyone done something similar?

I've got the basic Foxtel package plus sports (and HD), but it still costs me $60 per month.
Considering I only watch the sports channels it is still too much money, but you have to have the basic entertainment package which is $25p/m.

If there was any way the NRL would stream all their games live online (in good HD quality) then I would quit Foxtel in a second.
