Where does it say the Dutch didnt like what they saw of Australia?
Okay I made that part up because I couldn't remember why they didn't colonise the place

.[all of it] of little value and decidedly inferior to what elsewhere in India may be found of the same description ? they have found little beyond an arid, barren and wild land, both near the shore and so far as they have been inland, without meeting with any human beings, though now and then they have seen fires from afar, some of the men fancying that two or three times they have seen a number of naked blacks, whom however they have never been able to come near to, or to come to parley with; nor have they found there any peculiar animals or bird
Come on yy, your better than that. There are a couple on here who like to make things up to support their views, but not you mate, please not you too!!
There are numerous sources. Most (if not all) of the Dutch explorers were associated with the Dutch East India Company, and were interested largely in short-medium term commercial value. Here's one example of what their guys sent back to A'dam.

And Arthur Phillip and many of the officers on the First Fleet thought the same thing, however Cook believed Botany Bay was a great place for a colony. Your right, the Dutch East India Company were only about making a profit, much like the English East India company that came after it.
I can't however recall any stories of the British cutting off peoples heads and having their children carry them around. Thats is just pure evil.
Dunno about the first bit, but I've definitely seen some Poms make their kids carry them around.

Does bodyline count?
What?? Yeah thats not even close to funny.
Well, one could ask what on earth the line had to do with the Dutch / British question?
It's in the sling action I guess
Its where the conversation YY and i were having started. Thats what on earth it has to do with it. Try following the conversation.
And your sick comment about British kids carrying around cut off heads, bloody ordinary.
Well the issue with this is that the Brits came over and imposed cricket on all the nations that annexed. They didnt care about Boomerang competitions or Spear throwing competitions.
So why is it not fair that they come and try to impose their culture here?
It is nature. It is the survival of the fittest and those who dont adapt, become the minority.
what a ridiculous statement
you do realize these people come from war torn countries where where terrorism is inherent in their faith and we are now seeing terrorist attacks in Australia and to boot they treat their women like second class citizens and you are comparing this to a game of cricket and you want us to accept this behavior into our culture
seriously, give yourself an uppercut
