The Roosters have every incentive to let the Rabbitohs win. Quite apart from who they'd rather play in Week 1, they won't want to travel to Brisbane. The Rabbitohs (who hate the Roosters) will be aware of this and probably won't have much to gain by winning anyway. This could be one seriously farcical match.

Better to go to Brisbane in week 1 then in the PF.. So I doubt that weighs into it

If they can win at Penrith they won't need to go to Brisbane, we will.

Kaylen Ponga is showing why he is the most overrated overhyped player in the game today!

We all assumed we would have been playing the Eels in the 1 v 4.

Go figure assuming The Eels beat the Tigers we will now be playing the Roosters.

Not overly concerned you have to beat whom ever you come up against.

Lots of talk about resting players. Roosters rested a lot of players last week and scratched out a result against the Sharks. Rested more players this week and their momentum has been absolutely shot to bits.

    There's risks in every approach.

    How about Souths.
Lost to Bulldogs (second worst team in the comp) las week.
Beat reigning premiers by 50 tonight.
If it was horse racing there would be an enquiry.

Means nothing. Yes not ideal going into next week but really I don’t place to much emphasis on it. Happy to play who ever we come up against and confident we can get the job done if we play to our best.

There is talk they'd throw the game to not have to travel to Brisbane week one. FIFO against Storm isn't ideal.
