Problem is even a lot of league fans don't want their kids playing. Would have to lean hard into touch and you lose a lot of the fundamentals like tackling and forwards.

My point is though. AFL uses Auskick numbers to boost numbers. Soccer too modified versions.

As for tackling... that can only be the aim with these new rules from NRL

Point is parents prefer the less contact sport for kids so even league fans get their kids into other sport.

My nephew's comp doesn't keep score. No reason kids can't have seperate rules. No reason to ruin the NRL to please a few

Aekins got the 3 points in the Dally M. I think from memory he got the 3 points on his debut with us when he ran for almost 300 metres. Good on him, he’s done well in the absence of CNK.

Yes soccer numbers under 14 year olds has been higher than league going back to the 80s
Soccer has had many peaks the starting of the A league had big crowds but look now back to where they usually are
