To think Eels were used as a measure of us beating a top 4 side without Nathan. While they technically were at the time. They haven't been a top 4 quality side in ages.

Roosters pumped them to nil with half a roster missing. Manly pumping them right now. It's amazing how shit teams can make other teams attack look red hot. When it's Eels being pumped it's enjoyable to see too.

Oh I am enjoying tonight's match. The Eels are ill discipled, with one send off, and one sin binning. The Eels are on the decline.

Not a good night for one Eels fan. He left his car parked on the street with an Eels Jersey on the back seat. When he returned to the car, yep, back windows were smashed, and he had 17 more Eels jerseys on his seat.

Souths 24 titans 0 half time
Anyone who don’t rate Souths are kidding themselves. The deadset have a team that can score points fast .We need to be on our A game to beat them next week
Agree completely but Titans aren't exactly a defensive powerhouse. Souffs keeping them to one try is a good effort, though.

I just can't bring myself to really fear a team we've put 50 on. It wasn't like putting 50 on Manly in the first few rounds either. South's are the same team they've been all year.

That said, if the curse is ever going to be broken they're a pretty good candidate for it.

Well good Lord that was the best Saturday of lockdown so far.

Over the last 20-25 years they are the number one team that never lives up to expectations. Previously it was the Dragons but they got the premiership through Bennett. People predict their failure then walk around like Nostradamus when it's a fait accompli before the season even starts.

Seeya Parramatta.

They'll (Parra) make the second week, the teams vying for 7th and 8th are all very iffy. Then they'll face Manly or the Roosters. They might have some prospect of beating the Roosters.

Geez it was tough watching the Channel 9 post-game last night. Poor Sterlo was distraught as Gus laid out the development structures and pathways in place at Panthers, Storm & Roosters but absent at the Eels.

Funny as f**k watching Eels halves coach Joey have nothing to say though...

As good as Manly have been playing and as good as Turbo is they still haven't beaten us, the Storm and the Rabbitohs even once this year. I see a lot of fans of other clubs getting carried away and calling them Melbourne's main threat but really they have only been thrashing teams in pretty ordinary form and it's clear the Eels are very ordinary at the moment. I still have confidence that we are the Storm's main threat because we haven't lost a game with our full or near full strength side all year.

I wouldn't be too smug. In the post Origin period we are the 4th best team on form - and if the Roosters hadn't had a decimated roster - we'd be 5th.

The only silver lining in that is that South and Manly are pretty much peaking right now whilst we have a couple of gears to climb.
