You hope. Their intensity is lifting tonight.
The side they are playing is severely depleted, to say the least. I think losing Hargreaves is the last straw for the Roosters. They're unable to contain Souths up the middle, which is not good.

Storm won’t see the Roosters in the finals. Should be Easts vs some rubbish team and then Souths Chooks in week 2.

Latrell is certainly good when things go his way but I’m not sure he adds much to a side against the best. Once we closed down his space (and Walkers) they lost their heads and started making mistakes. Having to shift Johnston or Walker and dismantle that left side combo will hurt though.

Robbo was showing what an utter hypocrite he is. He certainly wasn't pleading for his player to get more than 10 mins in the bin when Yeo was taken out of the Easts game early by a head high. Now he whinges like a merkin when the shoe is on the other foot.
I think he was more upset with the fact the bunker did nothing about it for over a minute, all whilst manu was out on the ground.

It took manu getting into a melee twice and for his face to be a ballon before they did something.

The yeo incident was completley different. Chooks player got 10 in the bin straight away. It was just one of those tough ones that i think couldve gone either way. Yeo was falling into it and there wasnt any malice. Id have been happy with a send off but not blowing upcause it was only 10.

The latrell one was a clear send of. Lined him up from 5m away at force, shoulder into his head. Almost looked intentional.

The main point he was making is that the bunker is an absolute lottery and they have no idea. Pretty hard to argue with that imo. What the hell were they watching??? They have all the angles.

Was pathetic from the bunker.

You can only assume Perenara was afraid of letting the Roosters back into the game. It was still a contest at the time and the Roosters had had the better of the second half up to that point. Of course by not sending him off he created a blowout.

Mitchell got 6 weeks early plea or if he fights it and loses 9 weeks. If I am Souths I roll the dice and go for a down grade

I think the MRC got it pretty right and while the judiciary are a lottery he realistically has no chance of getting it downgraded.

Yeah it was parmigiana robbo was off at for what you've described. They tried to play on twice and Manu had to get into a push and shove with a broken face.

Liam knight out for two weeks to with early guilty plea, 3 if he fights.

So they will be without trell and him at this stage.

We just need to get through the season without any injuries or suspensions. That is all that matters.

The lesson for Panthers from this is don’t get dragged into any crap from Tigers tomorrow. Stay calm, keep focussed. Sad news for South’s fans but a timely lesson for us.
Very good point. They’ve got nothing to lose so are likely to try anything.

Good thing that Jack Hetherington doesn’t play for us anymore. He would be the one most likely to have a brain explosion in a game like this.

Smug or not, we are now 1 away from a GF.

We’ll destroy South’s week 1
Not that we need this to happen, but hopefully the Dragons will take a “nothing to lose” approach against Souths and soften and tenderise them before we go in for the demolition job, then leave the carcass for the Knights or Raiders to finish off.

Manu is currently undergoing surgery.

Mitchell let his emotions get the better of him last night.Mitchell's wrap sheet is not good reading if you're a bunnies fan.

Evidence of some real nastiness by a number of bunnies players who were charged for tackles last night. It's obvious that bedtime stories (read by Crowe: you know the book of feuds ) have spilled out into real life.

For the first time ever I actually felt (please forgive me) a little sorry for the Easts players.

Honestly think Klein and the Bunker refs need to have the rest of the year off. In my opinion Mitchell's shot was a send off. Been a send off since 1908. The hip drop tackle deserved 10 in the bin too.
