Nobody seems to be producing anything more than Andy Raymonds tweet and a text message written by someone.

Surely there would need to be more to it than that?

Starting to feel like salaries should become a matter of public record like they are in the Big 4 in North America and that the NRL should pay players directly instead of handing out the Club grants.

This is a rabbithole that goes very far, and if the NRL really wants to keep the salary cap in something closely resembling its current form, they need to have way more control over it.
