LOLI’m in England… it’s just after midnight…
fair enough
LOLI’m in England… it’s just after midnight…
3rd ..They’ll finish 2nd… Sharks won’t lose a game here on in (playing bottom 8 for rest of regular season)* - Cowboys will lose to Roosters, Souths and Panthers!
*and will win the whole thing
It’s all set for a thrilling end to the season that’s for sure… It looked like a 2 horse or even 1 horse race, but there’s a few massive changes;I have no effing idea who finishes under 3rd tho
10 points left
most contenders play each other in these final 5 weeks so it could be anyone of the
Storm , Broncos , Parra, Roosters or Souths , but at the same time the hellish run in for a few of those sides could equally have them dumped out completely
Manly are a club divided , can't polish that turd . Its events off the field that have cruelled their season & this & their tough draw will see them miss out IMO.
The Raiders sitting pretty with a candy draw , but their rep for shitting the bed is legendary & only time will tell if Stick can get them to focus on the job at hand & take that spot .. 7th or 8th.
Entirely plausibleRaiders to have a good winning run than lose to Parra in the GF
you forgot 2 letters there between those 2 wordsEntirely plausible
It’s all set for a thrilling end to the season that’s for sure… It looked like a 2 horse or even 1 horse race, but there’s a few massive changes;
Panthers - obviously the favourites, by a long way, but origin has shown the way to beat them, backed up by the Eels - the Panthers struggle when teams decide to dominate them physically. Nathan and Luai missing a few could help them, but could also derail them
Storm - Injuries appear to be cruelling them, but they’re the storm. They’re my 2nd favourites (after the Sharks of course)
Cowboys - kissed on the dick by a fairy with their draw, can beat anyone on their day; but don’t see them beating 4 good teams in a row as they’d have to in finals footy
Broncs - Not this year
Eels - Could do it, if they turn up, at their best, 4 weeks in a row, they get the biscuits… but much higher likelihood of beating someone like Storm in week 1 and getting knocked out by Broncs in week 2….
Roosters/Souths - both more than capable of going on a run to the big dance
Sharks - won’t lose again until 2023! (But equally may get beaten by both the Tigers and the Dogs in the last 5 rounds)
Time for people to predict their winners and why…..
nahI can see a situation where the Raiders win their next two, and the Roosters lose to the Storm and Rabbitohs, meaning all the Raiders have to do is defeat the Tigers to make the top 8 - and then lose.
Parramatta are vulnerable tooAfter playing with the ladder predictor for a bit, I think the Raiders might sneak in and the Roosters will miss out.
its excitingSouths are 13-8 and are almost as likely to finish 9th as we are 4th or 5th. Crazy season.
I’m gonna say I’m not a million miles off….1. Storm
2. Sharks
3. Roosters
4. Eels
5. Panthers
6. Rabbits
7. Titans
8. Manly
9. Raiders
10. Bulldogs
11. Knights
12. Dragons
13. Broncos
14. Warriors
15. Cowboys
16. Tigers
I’m very confident of the top 5 (though not the order), think teams 6-12 are interchangeable, Broncos will be the best of the rabble, but bottom 3 could end up equal spooners.
Few call outs for me;
- Manly will be nowhere near as good. Tom can’t be as good again, and they’re bottom 4 fodder if he gets hurt.
- Panthers will struggle as defending premiers and have lost some important depth - Origin time or injuries will sting
- Rabbits will struggle but still be better than most of middle teams
- Tigers/Cows will have same issues as each other. Expensive, ineffective 7’s, and coaches who team don’t buy into
- Eels will bottle it
This was a pretty good predictionExcept for the Tigers those sides have experience in the halves. With great young guys.
Top 6 will be in no order
Panthers
Storm
Roosters
Manly
Parra
Souths
Tigers will get the spoon.
The rest are an injury or 2 from joining them or a some individual brillance from the 8
