Yeah 43 is bad. 20 missed tackles per half is pretty much the barometer for shitty defence. Under 10 per half is a pass mark.
Imagine if the field was regulation size

But I thought the narrow field would favour Canberra? We aren't a big side and needed wider flanks.Imagine if the field was regulation size.

Yep, I would suggest they adapted their game to the width much better than we did. Thats going to matter more than any supposed advantage based on the roster.Seems like it did. The field and also being a better coached, better football team.
So it's ok to attack the kickers legs now? Just a penalty, not 10mins. Or is it just a Warriors jersey thing?the guy that should have been binned scores the intercept. f**king bullshit.
I watched both games, the difference between us and the other 3 teams was ridiculous. Fogarty/Strange, Trindall and Cleary were all incredibly sharp. The shape of the Sharks and Panthers was so impressive, these are well coached teams that know exactly what they're doing at every point on the parkI only watched the mini of Panthers v Sharks, but manly how much more impressive those teams were. Structure in attack, crisp passing.
I think they should are the top 4 teams from year befote once everyone had a go.
Second game was excellent. Trindall was superb and IMO, overshadowed his million dollar half partner yet again. And seeing AFB scoring from close gave me PTSD.I only watched the mini of Panthers v Sharks, but manly how much more impressive those teams were. Structure in attack, crisp passing.

Yeah I thought Savage was lucky to stay on at the time, but I pretty much wrote it off as the Vegas factor, figuring the refs had probably been told to keep bins to a minimum.Once again other teams reap the benefits of Raiders foul play.
Xavier Savage Canberra 1-2 matches Joe Tapine Canberra 2-3 matches
i said at the time savage should have been a bin though Tapine did get binned. Forgot that for a minute.
yeh, i wondered that afterwards.Yeah I thought Savage was lucky to stay on at the time, but I pretty much wrote it off as the Vegas factor, figuring the refs had probably been told to keep bins to a minimum.
