The Titans are so mentally weak they are captained by a 22 year old. Staying focused with a big lead can be difficult, and not panicking when the opposition fire up is also easy to do, especially in a team environment where you need to trust other people to be in the right frame of mind. Don't be so quick to blame or praise coaching. On game day the leadership needs to come from within the playing group. The coach is no more an outsider than when the players are on the field.

I think no merkin would've won a premiership at our club between 2009 and 2018. Since then it's been a very different club, and one that is good enough to build a genuine premiership window. Arthur's should be judged on that. But even in a premiership window there's no guarantee of winning. No matter how good the coach you can just have the misfortune to come up against a better team on the day.
