Oh I loved that Henry Lawson Short Story. Bloody Labradors. A great read.

It's been a long time since I read anything of his. Although he did mention one of my ancestors once and wasn't very complimentary.

Small world. My great great grandfather was a policeman who got shot in the ankle trying to arrest a couple of bushrangers who were part of the Ben Hall gang. Lawson wrote a poem about it.

Was anyone listening to triple m nrl on sunday.

Apparently the host Maroon walked out because Hooper, Kent and Tallis were joking but bullying him on air about tax evasion.

Just curious did it get really heated. As i normally listen most sundays but after Parra's woeful performance on Saturday i stayed away from RL news cycle.

And i am not surprised especially with Hooper he is your typical pile on bully by thinking he is funny when in fact he is just an arsehole.

And Kent is a Kent nothing new there.

Yes. I was listening. It was quite bizarre. I love Anthony Maroon. He's very funny and runs a good show. He's also a great caller of games.
It was clear that Maroon had had enough of the jokes. He warned them time and again that the joke that had been carried on for 5 years and he'd had enough. Also stated that it had taken a toll on his life. Also stated that he had nothing to hide re the tax dept. He also said that he had asked Hooper, Kent and to a lesser extent, Tallis privately to just let it go and stop talking about supposed "cashies" that he allegedly does and alleged tax evasion. He even stated that he had emailed management who did nothing.
The discussion went on for a good 5 minutes, and the juvenile Hooper and Kent just kept cracking jokes about it and giggling.
Maroon warned them several times that it had to stop yet they continued.
It was then when he got up and walked out.
Apparently MMM have not been able to contact him since, according to Hadley this morning.

Yeah I heard that too. I felt the banter turn and could tell that the goons were enjoying to see him squirm. At the end it was pure harassment.

Some people just don't think that mental health is real or that the solution is that merkins should just harden up. Very sad.

But when the RUOK week rolls around in September, we can look forward to their heartfelt support.

Yeah I listen most weeks and its obivous the three gang up and put shit on maroon regularly.

Most of it is banter and maroon does give it back he doesnt mind bagging the titans.

But i must say it really grinds my gears when Hooper does it because most of the time it seems Kent starts the shit stirring on maroon but then hooper wants to come over the top trying to be funny with the pile on like the big dopey stand over man you would see in a gang.
