Don't you just love when they talk about boxing for 10 minutes in a rugby league show.
I understand that Fox Sports is trying to create interest in the fight to get more viewers, but do they do this during AFL 360?

Just switch off like I did/do. Maybe they will get a clue then. Otherwise they will keep doing it.

There is no point watching after that anyway, you know the show is at the end once that segment is over anyway and only the gambling crap is still to come which I never watch either.

Anyone with half a brain can see that RCG was just about to go down on his knees to make the tackle just as the ball carrier was also dropping suddenly, RCG wasn't expecting it or ready for it and probably due to fatigue and dumb mental clumsiness just kept going with his original thought without having the mental alertness to readjust and pull out. Not hard to figure out when you watch it objectively and unbiasedly. In my mind he does deserve to be suspended, but 2-3 weeks would have been a fairer penalty, because it was fatigue and clumsiness not malice as some are so eager to say.

To call it the crime of the century or premeditated is asinine and dumber the RCG's actions. At least RCG was fatigued when he transgressed. These tossers don't have any excuse? They are just plain stupid and there is no love lost for Parra either by them.

Not surprised really, considering we have a Potato Head and club for that matter that rarely ever goes on the front foot and defends any of the decisions that go against us as a club.

Uncle Nick on the other hand from what I understand is on the blower to all the journos as soon as there is any criticism directed toward anything Roosters. Like a blood hound he is, even when he is on holiday in Greece.

We should learn how to affect change and defend ourselves. We(Potato Head) should be ringing the refs office ever freakin week on Mondays with a list of please explains campaign. That is the only way you keep the refs on their toes and fearing us on the field and not wanting to make the wrong decision against us or there will be repercussions.

I mean if you aren't a hundred percent sure of a call on the field and it could go either way, in the back of a refs mind(they are only human) would you will probably subconsciously go in favour of the whinging wanker that is going to make your life miserable and you may even lose your NRL job the following week if it is wrong or would you make it in favour of the team/coach that never says peep to the powers that be? Hmmm....

I know how people and life really works, and therefore I know what the answer would mostly be.

What do you all think?

I'm sure all clubs are in regular contact with the refs.

I skipped through the boxing stuff to see if there was anything on after it. Nope just Daley advertising some betting company.

I watch it because I just ant something to watch and this is a show I can put on in the background while I'm doing other stuff. I usually have a bit of a laugh at what they go on about. I do enjoy Anasta getting stuck into the journos at times which I didn't expect to happen. Tallis tries to do the same but just sounds dumb. I usually skip through the segments with the current players who come on becuase they are never going to say much that's interesting.

Because our Potato Head in charge has said previously he doesn't. He over the years has complain very little and he has said as much/

He needs to be a pest every single week if he wants to get positive results the way the mega whingers do. If here were you would hear little digs and swipes from the powers that be in the referees and other areas referring to us and him in particular. But there is nothing, because we say nothing.

I know that Robinson at the Roosters for example is a regular whinger, it's the brave Roosters way after all. Bennet used to be but now isn't, but put that down to old age and fatigue then anything else.

Totally agree, but Tallis needs to go. Total lump and offers very little behind the scenes insight.

Ive all but wore the paint off my fast forward remote button. I generally watch NRL Tonight in 10 mins and NRL 360 in 15.

I think there’s a lot more overlap between the rugby league demographic and the boxing demographic. How many AFL players get into boxing rings for example? There’s been a few but AFL doesn’t go hand in hand with boxing the way rugby league does.
