Yes, he has certainly done that with Cartwright, Hopgood, Papalii, Davey, Matterson, Lane, Stone, Salmon, Nrown, Scott, Takairangi, Edwards, Ma'u, Terepo.

Not to mention all those halves, wingers, centres, fullbacks he has turned into big, slow front rowers.

Lane is a strike second rower, and yes, we are lacking him. Penisini is a strike centre. Simonsson is a good enough number two centre for our team. The problem is we don't have a fifth best outside back that is up to NRL standard this year. f**k knows what's happened to Blake. He has gone from rocks-and-diamonds to just rocks.

I actually think he's trying to improve our mobility in the middle by using more back rowers there. The only two genuine front rowers in the squad this week are Paulo and Greig. I think it's a good mix but I guess we'll find out.

He definitely is. He's been solid this year. His defence was ordinary on the weekend but every centre has a game like that. He made big metres and set up two tries. He is fine.

There are plenty worse centres than him. Momirovski has won a premiership ffs. We would be one of the hardest teams for a centre to defend in, since they get so little help from the inside. Blaming Eels centres for overlaps is like blaming our hooker for being isolated in the middle. It's the equivalent of saying Sivo is our best player because he scores the most tries. You need to watch the whole game, not just the big plays.

No chance. His 2021 stats were better than Simonsson's this year but playing in the Penrith backline would be easy. They are never isolated in defence and often one-on-one in attack. Perfect conditions for an outside back.

Simonsson is the best winger available and Asi has no experience on the wing. As for AMS, it was good to be able to give him a debut against weak opposition but the risk is too big this week.

Anyway, how long did we sit at 26 or 27 players in a 30 squad ? What was our attrition rate this year with injuries and suspensions ? How was that dealt with ?

Yeah simmonsons fine if you have To'o, Crighton on wing and Burton the other centre.
