I went to a finals game a few years ago. Manly vs dogs, they had moved the game from brookvale to sfs for this reason.

They where lucky to have 18k there and a lot more dogs fans than manly fans.

Yes.
Davey basicaly said coaching style wasn't for him and not like what he experienced at previous clubs. Also three other players names who thought the same.
I get the impression being pushed to hard and aggressive. I think that style works for some and not for others. Probably better on the younger blokes then your older more mature and seasoned guys.
One things for sure a lot of players hate Ciraldo. Mahoney has stuck up for him but at the sametime I wouldn't expect anything else from him being the captain.

I've also heard when at Penrith Gould well the club was happy to have him go in the end.

Dogs may turn it around who knows but I am less confident now than I was start of this year.

He said he doesn't know at the beginning but kept saying he was "embarrassed" by a 21 year old and left because he thought he was going to get a first grade spot. Again he used that word and its as if he knew exactly what happened at training. Sounds like he's getting Chinese whispers from certain players or staff members and doesnt know the truth. Instead of going after someone on live radio, get the full details.

There are much bigger problems at the Dogs and they seem to offload it. I'm sure Buzz is loving it with Gould being in charge.

I must say I am a bit surprised by the revelations from Andrew Davey But fair play to him to have the courage of his convictions and speak out I guess.

In respect of what you say about Gus Gould I’m not so sure about those assertions. He didn’t get on with everyone, but a good friend of mine was on the staff during Gould’s tenure and I can tell you from conversations with my good mate nothing could be further from the truth. Sure he made some tough decisions, but for the most part he was widely respected by the majority of the playing group.

Buzz seemed to be coming from his hatred of Gus, rightly or wrongly.
