Which is a travesty. Many judges back in the 80's would write articles and on TV back then, had the opinion that Kenny and Sterlo were each the best that they had ever seen play in their respective positions to that point in time. Yet neither of them are good enough to be considered immortals. while there are two 5/8ths that came before Kenny or played along side him. What a joke.

Not saying that Johns for example shouldn't be an immortal either, but if Sterlo was considered to be the best of all the halfback that had ever played the game up until that time, surely considering the position that he also plays would make him an instant choice, but I get why Johns gazumped him?

But Kenny is still the most egregious, considering I have yet to see a better all round pivot then him at his best, especially in the biggest arenas.

Meninga and Provan cheapened it for me. Neither deserve their place over players like Kenny or even Price if you are sticking Provan in there for ffs!

Provan was a quality leader and club man who had longevity that gave his all, but was surrounded by a team of legends and was never the standout front rower of his generation or any generation for that matter.
