I’ve had the pleasure of playing a round of golf with him. Wanted to dislike him but he is literally one of the nicest people I have met. Very knowledgeable about issues outside of league as well. Dodgy putting stroke though.

I thought he could have answered the question better, yeah we all know they were pushing Mansour out. But there was still a contract which was what the discussion was about.

He could had said, something like “we only told him he wasn’t in our plans and wouId be playing NSW cup, so was free to leave if he wanted to. However if he stayed we wouId honour his contract which we are require to do by law”

I loved it. It was one of those rare moments where he actually said what he thought. No politically correct answer or euphemisms as he normally carefully picks his words. He actually spoke how he felt. Loved it.

We all knew how clubs think so it was good to hear someone say it out loud.

Just getting old and there were a quite a few of the similar type of shows back in the 90’s. Point taken though. The two still remind me of Milo. Toovey is like that Simpson’s meme, old man yelling at clouds.

Give me Benny over that sweaty Rothfield any day of the week. Benny does sometimes over play his intellectual act, but overall is not that bad and I don’t mind listening to most things he says. His loyalty to his wife and other in laws are also highly commendable. Can’t comment on the putting style though.
