I am using Sportsbet. And the lines are fairly on par with what you quoted, some were better some were worse. Much of a muchness.

Centrebet has revamped their Pick your own line odds lately.. They finally came to their senses.. not offering the value for -2 and -4 anymore. Which is why I've been out of action for a while. Hard to find overs these days. Cowboys Hd/Hd today are the best overs in a few weeks, at half time now I'm furious I couldn't get my $1k bet (-4.5) @ $1.48 on in time!

Multi:

Cowboys Hd/Hd & Black Caviar $500 @ $1.586

Cowboys (-10.5) - $150 @ $1.90

Money in the bank.. Black Caviar was little close for comfort.. ended up having an additional $1.27k on her for just a $1.5k collect.. hardly seemed worth the heart attack!

As for tomorrow:

Melbourne, again, look pretty decent at $1.75. Weakened a little, but Gareth Widdop is doing a pretty good job at the back. For starters I'll take:

Melb Hd/Hd - $300 @ $1.75

Brisbane severely handicapped by origin tonight. Although Cronulla is missing their best two aswell, they still have a pretty decent line up. I like them here, at really good value!

Cronulla Hd/Hd $390 @ $2.57 to win $1,000

I'm tempted to put more on them too.. we'll see

EDIT: Too juicy to give up, added another $390, total $780

Cronulla look like a huge trap here.

I don't know how that could be a trap? Brisbane missing several star players, it's usually pretty safe to take experience over a team full of young kids.

Today, penrith missing about half of their normal team. Might be a few late inclusions though.. So I won't go too big. Souths not that much value, but still a pretty decent bet.. For now..

Souths (-10.5) $296 @ $1.70

Ugh that's what a trap is. Cronulla had a much better team on paper with a lot more expierence, yet were considerable outsiders.

the odds were formed due to the high number of people betting on the broncos. If you go against popular opinion, you can get decent odds. As long as yout opinion is not biased, you have a decent chance. A couple of weeks ago Melbourne were 2.50 outsiders at manly. Great value. Can't call it a trap, just misguided popular opinion.

I was under the impression a trap is when the bookie sets the price really low so everyone thinks that team is sure to win when realistically the odds were really short and no value.. No?

Bookies don't try to manipulate the market with their odds. They just react to punter habits.
If a bookie offers very short odds on an outcome, then punters will just go with another bookie if they wanna bet on that outcome.
People who think that bookie odds are a fair reflection of probability are the ones that lose in the long run. But bookies don't care, they always win.

There's no such thing as a trap. The market will always determine the fairest equilibrium price. It's essentially old fashioned 'supply and demand'. No more debate required here..

Tonight. Dragons vs Canberra. I promised myself I would never bet on the Dragons ever again this year. They are rubbish and can't score points. However.. Canberra have sunk to significantly lower levels. I will bet against severely depleted teams every day of the week.. It's unfortunate I have to resort to betting on the Dragons this week. But they are good value IMO in this ugly sister contest, despite the winning record they have against Canberra. I'll take:

Dragons (-2.5) $275 @ $1.82
Dragons Hd/Hd $157 @ $1.60

And some value bets just for kicks:

Dragons (-11.5) $172 @ $2.91
Dragons (-17.5) $82 @ $4.70

Anyone catch a glimpse on the Centrebet offer shown on tonights footyshow?
They had the Doggies at $2 until midnight?

Dragons .. Worst bet of the year! Cost me half of last weeks profit,

No screwing around tonight. Melbourne should easily beat Canberra 13+. I'll take:

Melb (-11.5) $1,142 @ $1.91

EDIT: Got some better odds.. Added some more:

Melb (-9.5) $278 @ $1.80
Melb (-5.5) $332 @ $1.51

EDIT 2: Cam Smith out.. no wonder the odds changed! Well that just screwed my bets over!

I take the specials almost every week of I catch them. They don't lose in the long term, just too bad about the maximum bet.

I'm liking Newcastle +10.5 & Manly -14.5 @ $3.61

A full strength Manly should thrash the Eels with no Hayne and I think Souths vs Knights will be a close one.

That bet was just too good.
I had planned on taking up that special offer but I logged onto and was unsure how to locate the promotion.

Odds were $1.50 at the time, $2 was no were to be found!

So I know in future, care to explain how we can access these promotions?
I never get to read everything in time on the tele!
