Have we won 10 of the last 11 series? Origin as the showpiece of the game deserves the weighting.
Yeah right....

Premierships are nothing now, well since 2006. I believe you are a Broncos supporter and strangely enough, the Broncos haven't won since 2006.

More than a mere coincidence? Hence your twisted logic.

The list is perfect...I wouldn't move a name. Well done NRL.com for compiling such an accurate and undebatable list.

Yes yes, Pearce is overrated. Friend and Cordner are overrated. And they're our only 3 in the top 50.

And in your next sentence you'll accuse us of being over the cap because of how many stars we have.

Don't worry, I would never suggest the current Roosters squad is over the salary cap, it's hardly full of world beaters.

I just found it funny that your only criticisms of the list are non-Roosters players and your biggest gripe is that a beat-up JWH isn't in the list.

Nathan Brown and Jack de Belin aren't Roosters players either and I said they should be there.

50. Nathan Cleary?

Cleary is now on a stage,in the finals where he can really prove that at least,he should be in the top 15.

I mean, for a start,he is the seasons leading point scorer. And the youngest for 104 years.

How many halfback in previous years have there been where his team is in the finals, and that half isn't at least in the top 15-20 players in the league?

Get this list printed continuously on toilet paper.Better use for it.:)

36. Dane Gagai

Im assuming thats Queensland Dane Gagai as opposed to the one who trots out for Newcastle

I also cant imagine theres a single person in the world, apart from the person who wrote this article, who would prefer Shaun Johnson in their side over Michael Morgan
Thank you
I honesty think most 'experts' don't actually watch many Knights games and defence also doesn't seem to be taken too much into consideration. Gagai does one thing well and that's break tackles, unfortunately he's terrible in defence and he has not even the faintest idea how to set up his winger which I would've thought were important attributes for a top class centre

Agreed.

Origin Dane is the best winger I've ever seen.

Any other version of Gagai has so far been nothing more than average first grader.

And next year he goes to a team that'll probably finish lower than the Knights. Is he a sadist?

His style is perfectly suited to the origin arena especially as a winger, he's strong as an ox, rugged and a great dummy half runner, also his defensive limitations aren't exposed because he's on the wing and origin tends to be played more in the trenches. The problem is people see a game where Gagai makes 15 tackle breaks, runs for 200m and they evaluate his worth based on that game and his bad games are largely ignore because playing for the Knights people have low expectations. Don't get me wrong he's great at making metres but in essence you're buying a Ferrari and using it like a Volvo.

Correct top 50 list

1 Mitchell Moses
2-49 Lesbians
50 Jarryd Hayne

Tbh, I reckon Moses himself looks like a lesbian.

He tackles like one at least.

Where is Latrell Mitchell? What a joke of a list.
Missing out on Latrell Mitchell and putting Gallen at No 10 is an insult to most people's intelligence.

Don't worry Rothfiied will have his updated list out soon. Gal will be higher and the further the Roosters go this year the more players he will put in it.

So this list isn't just taking into account 2017 form, but also previous seasons?

And no Radradra? Best winger in the game a couple of years ago(and the year before that) while still playing at a high level last couple of years.

I think Valentine Holmes is awesome, but he hasn't come close to Radradra's best yet. Could have even found room for Mansour.
Wingers are so underrated by so many people.
