The CC Bears Bid was shown to be the better option in both an independant report on expansion, The NRL wanted an independant input on the matter. This was done by a mob that helps the IOC choosing Olympic bids. And also by the NRL's own research they conducted.

Regardless of both of these reports The ARL side of the NRL partnership still wanted the GC admitted.

Hopefully for rugby league in AUS a massive TV deal will struck when they are re-negotiated, more revenue enters the game and its clubs. And then the Sport could sustain both the CC Bears and the GC Dolphins being admitted.

These two will hopefully be the first of more expansions to come.
