I can't see anywhere were El Diablo claims he agrees with what's written in the article.

What he did take point with is Lockyer4's claim that the article was written by someone in the nsw media as part of some old nsw establishmet conspiracy, when in fact the article was written by a queenslander.

Hey drinky, glad to see you pop your head up out of the gutter again.
You keep using that word but I'd appreciate it if you could find where I've said that in one of my posts.
Looking forward to your reply mate. Ta.

Love how this info gets leaked to the media straight away, Nothing like washing your dirty laundry in public. No wonder there is no trust between NRL and clubs. It's a very poor way of doing business, presuming of course it's true!

And it is only in News Ltd media....And Bart bought Melbourne Storm off of News Ltd....Was a condition of the sale that he is to do News Ltds dirty work?

If the NRL wants to spend the 30% ($40m/year) on building their own streaming and media departments you can't blame News Ltd for whipping the hysteria up and aligning themselves with the clubs. Or the rest of the media for that matter - though the Daily Telegraph and Fox have the most to lose over the long term.

and wtf does the media have to do with this anyway?

it's the clubs that want Grant gone or is this locky dipshit claiming that's another conspiracy theory being spread by NSW media pretending to be Queenslanders?

Havent seen this posted yet, some common sense re the cap on non football expenditure levels.

TITANS saviour Darryl Kelly has called for football department spending to be capped to ensure extra funding is not blown on the chase for premiership glory.

Kelly confirmed he was still committed to buying the Gold Coast franchise once the NRL finds stability from the funding crisis engulfing the game.

After tipping millions of his personal wealth into the Titans, Kelly was honoured this week by having the club’s new locker room named after him.

He has assembled a group of local investors who are willing to buy the club from the NRL, who saved it from collapse last February.
The disgruntled clubs want the commission to honour its commitment to fund them 130 per cent of the salary cap but Kelly warned an agreement on football department spending must also be reached to ensure the money is spent sensibly.

“That’s one of the most important things, that there is a cap put on football department spend so further money received from the NRL is spent on the right areas and not just escalating costs in football departments,” he said.

“That’s been the trend in the past. When more money has come to the clubs they’ve spent it on their football departments in the hope of winning premierships.

“If the competition wants to be strong and even, something has to be done about that.”

The Titans have one of the lowest football department budgets in the NRL while other clubs spend millions more attempting to win the title.

The NRL confirmed football department spending was still on the agenda for clubs to discuss with the commission.

why wouldn't i?

are you claiming the clubs don't want Grant gone?

that is what these articles are about
During the tv rights threads you questioned almost every article from these same newspapers.
Many articles dealing with this funding issue seem to be just as one-sided.
You no longer seem to be questioning what is being published. I'm asking what changed.

Because part of the NRL v club discussions include other agreements, including a cap on football dept expenditure! Someone pass me the crayons please.

This bit in bold is hilariously ironic.

I don't even understand why you'd be so afraid of explaining why you now trust some sources that you used to distrust.

i don't know why you can't post links to these posts you claim i made seeing i've provided links to the TV rights tpics

i also don't know why you think i shouldn't believe articles that claim 14 of the 16 clubs want Grant gone seeing we've had actual quotes from club bosses backing it up

you're a total flip

obviously being proven wrong earlier today has got you in a bit of a tizz and now you're off on multiple different tangents each with their own wacky conspiracy theory
