And it will need to be a staged reduction to deal with employment contracts etc.
Maybe the only true figure is to not reduce Brisbane's cost model
But use it as the maximum
Then over 5 years don't increase it

Take an avg and use that as the benchmark. Broncos are an anomaly in the NRL.

And bring in a second Brisbane team.
How do you address contracts and other ongoing commitments eg loans ?
And what about junior development.......some clubs spend $3 million others next to zero.Finger in the air, $4-5million, that should pay for coaches, physics, supplements etc etc
Free spending on stuff like membership, fan engagement, game day experience etc

So what if it is coming out of leagues club funding.......the leagues club was put there to propagate rugby league. And could you imagine the current NRL board spending 100 million dollars on junior league development......they haven't got a clue.......the money would be wasted on administration costs........they lost 17 million dollars last year.If LC fine, that is part of their mandate. If NRL club doesn't have a profitable poker den empire then the NRL should be picking up the bill as part of its $100mill grass roots funding. If NRL club has the money and wants to spend more than this so be it., I'd rather see any excess going to Jnr development than paying someone like Dank.
It's a bit of a furphy the panthers FC saying they overspend because of funding jnrs millions when in reality that is coming out of the panthers LC revenue.
no it's notIf LC fine, that is part of their mandate
no it's not
some league clubs spend very little on Jnr rugby league, some spend alot. Point is a new cap should only apply to FC football team operations like coaching etc. jnrs should be funded by: LC or NRL club if they can afford it or NRL where appropriate.
