Geez I wish I could find that thread with the warriors coffin.

My response to Shaun Hewitt needs a bump.

Has the NRL GF ever had two teams from outside NSW (no cheating please).

This week we need the finals to come to life after two predictable routs last week.

There's a little bit of nostalgia for Warriors fans, as the Cowboys head down to Melbourne for the GF Qualifier on Sat night. Been there, of course.

As for the RWC, I forgot how much the UK time difference affects the impact this tournament has downunder. I haven't watched one game, it certainly aint 2011 (as Warriors fans know too).

Yup - 06?, Brisbane beat Melbourne - think it was Webcke's last match, perhaps Thorn's too (of league)

Yes, correct. If I remember right Melbourne were favourites to win.

Also shows how hard it is to win premierships. The Broncos are a top-notch club, but it's been almost ten years.

Lol Penrith just scored a try when they were offside and committed the most blatant obstruction in history. These lower grade refs are soo bad

Broncos on fire, finals footy hasn't failed to remind me how sh*t the Warriors are.
The Roosters have average but we'd be an embarrassment at this level

That RTS howler in his in-goal looked ominous for us. He might fit right in.

16-12, this is some game.

Edit - another thrashing, three finals in a row now for 2015. What's going on?

RTS probably not officially a Warrior until some time in October, but yeah, his next club game is for us.

Cows should be further ahead imo, cutting them open at will down the right...

Lot of penalties against the Cows

Totally, Cows were on fire for a 20 min passage and should have put on 3-4
One bad drop, then the howlers came to let the Storm in.

Gonna be a very interesting second half, Storm won't lie down

Game over now, Koroibete goes nuts and gets binned.
Buckets of tries coming now I reckon

Cowboys and Brisbane look so good. They have made the other two preliminary finalists look pretty average for the most part.

Yep this is exactly the GF it should have been, only the Roosters could crack them but they don't seem to get up for finals footy after taking 2013

But could we say quite a few NRL teams could beat both the Broncs and the Cows in Sydney? Plenty of teams will be kicking themselves for missing this opportunity.

ps I'm not begrudging Tamou a premiership. Despite his off approach to his kiwi nationality his club side is really none of our business.

Not in this form, they are both playing beautifully

Nth Qld big men - Scott, Tamau, Taumalolo, Hannant destroyed Melbourne...

On Tamou, I do laugh at the BS around him, when he's right, he is very very good

Munster is the goods though, what an effort

Only fitting that the premiers should be out of Cowboys, Broncos or Roosters, the three best sides all season. Was really looking forward to this finals series, but has been a bit forgettable so far, apart from the first Cows/Broncs game. Bulldogs/Dragons had an exciting ending, but was pretty average quality for the most part.

Am interested to see what the reduced interchange does to the Storm next year. Don't think they can maintain their current playing style and expect to win a premiership. Cronk's a good player, but when they need to claw back a couple of tries or more, he doesn't have another gear to go to.

Just want to wish Alex Glenn the very best of luck today. The Brisbane Bronco is a Beach Haven boy, who is a part of the Kapi family. The Kapi family have produced some damn good grass roots players, but Alix has really gone on with it. There was some doubt as to whether he would play or not, but all appears to be well.
