You’d hope they run with the same setup of only having the stray dog on the sidelines for a min or 2 pre match and halftime. You really notice the difference in quality when you watch the fox buildup to a match, then our buildup

What a gig Halligan has, flown to all the away games for 2-3mins work a week

Sorry, I’ve already launched a brutal attack on Blair so why not this bloke too…the bloke LITERALLY CAN’T TALK (both physically and mentally impeded from doing so) so let’s put him on the coverage for 20 years. Are there no ex-players from the last 30 years who meet the qualification of having neither severe CTE nor an obvious speech impediment? FMD

This guy’s whole existence is such a weird anomaly to me. 300 first grade games and 50 tests (!) and I swear he was a decent player at the Storm and basically garbage for a full decade after that. Not only was he a shit player but he was an absolute grub, and a completely unlikeable person and total charisma vacuum…so naturally he gets unlimited TV gigs post-retirement. Honestly comes across as both an imbecile and quite a nasty bloke. One of life’s mysteries how everything has constantly fallen into his lap.
He was actually pretty handy at Mel and was robbed of a Churchill in 2009, was a disgrace from the point he left there onwards, apart from a few good games here and there for Brisbane

I always put Papaliis poor warriors finish down to the fact Blair was his mentor, he flew as soon as he got into an Aussie system of hard work

“great trainer” though apparently

Bellamy well known for putting a target on the top players and nullifying their involvement, so Walsh is probably in for the biggest test of his career tonight

I think I'm going for the Storm tonight. The thought of Walsh having a night out, with a premiership medal around his neck, leaves me more than cold.

1991 is still my favourite-ever season. As the years have gone by I've come to not only accept Penrith's great win but to actually be glad it happened.

I was mad for Canberra and wanted that three-peat bad. I watched the grand final with increasing tension and stress as I realised it wouldn't be a Raiders' walk over but, in fact, it would be tight all the way. I had Glen Larmer in my ear the whole time and he was going for Penrith, which just added to the sick feeling in the pit of my lime-green stomach.

Looking back though, if Canberra had won then just two teams would've claimed the Premiership from 1989 to 1994 (Raiders and Broncos) and that's just not good for the game in general. Penrith were also a great story too, outsiders, local lads done good, etc.

How time changes things. Now Penrith are going for three-in-a-row but, unlike Canberra in 1991, very few neutrals want them to do it.

Managed to get some seats in the main stand after multiple times logging in and then once getting some tickets quickly taking out a second mortgage.

If you see someone in the crowd with an Up the Tahs banner then that's me as part of my psy-ops to get rid of that hateful manufactured saying. May not be wise to have rugby references banner in Penrith, but I feel it's worth the few bruises I may get to accomplish my goal. ;)
I hope you have one of the best days ever. Me? I'm a snivelling, gutless rat of a 'fan'. I had my spot in the Warriors bay ready for check-out but didn't click 'send'. I balked at spending seventy bucks on our boys chances of upsetting the defending premiers.

Punish me this way. It's 24-20 to Penrith in the 79th minute. They're attacking our line and it feels desperate, we were so bloody close! Cleary looks to nail it through a clinical backline move and throws a long, cut-out, pass to his winger, who is certain to score. But - here it comes - Dallin intercepts it! His flaying locks and high-stepping run goes the length. Mayhem. Pompey - young, much-maligned, Pompey steps up for the kick of his career (thus far).

Of course, in dreams, it was always sailing through the uprights. More mayhem, amazing scenes in fact.

Punish my non-attendance this way.

I've always wondered by he had a gig on Sky, then my conspiracy theory brain clicked in, he's one of the few white guys who played league, and well broadcasting was historically dominated by whities in NZ.

How else would two guys who can't talk (Halligan and Ian Jones) get gigs?

:D
