Its amazing how posts get misconstrued. I was remarking how thatwasnthighrefs multi picks were all correct except he went for Dylan Edwards at fullback.Who would you have had at 1 ?
Tedesco had an exceptional year, probably close to his best at NRL level.
They all got lucky Tom was injured
I thought Grant had a down year, but no real standout 9 this year

Not many win a comp in their Dally M year, can Hughes join the list. Was a big gap between 1986 and 2008, although Gower would have gotten it in 03
Yep see that nowIts amazing how posts get misconstrued. I was remarking how thatwasnthighrefs multi picks were all correct except he went for Dylan Edwards at fullback.
Matua won't be a fan of Tongan back rower Eliesa Katoa doing a haka!Watch: Stirring haka after Kiwi Jahrome Hughes bags Dally M medal
The top gong comes after what has clearly been the best year of his career to date.www.nzherald.co.nz
Yeah I'm not so worried if it's happened before, it just feels wrong. He won the RLPA rookie award, so that's a good result.Yea I dunno TBH. It’s not like Galvin is the first rookie to be rubbed out. Preston was ruled out last year, and so was Walsh during his debut year with us.
I don’t remember Gus blowing up those times. Maybe because it’s because Galvin is easily the best of this year’s crop, but if it’s the principle that Gus is arguing then he’s a bit late with his outrage.
Galvin was suspended for two games, maybe it is?I thought it had to be 2 games to be rubbed out.
Iro was my rookie of the year. Galvin look like a good prospect but with the media hype comes pressure so not sure if he can maintain his good string of games.Dunno if Galvin was really "head and shoulders" above? Strong rookie crop this year, Iro (who probably should have won) and Bostock had excellent seasons, and Ethan Strange was similar to Galvin in being a young bloke taking over in the halves. Probably tailed off a bit compared to Galvin but I wouldn't say miles behind.
I'd say Iro was probably better as a centre than Galvin was as a 6, so it's a question of how much weight you give to being good in your position generally, vs the bonus points you give someone for being a spine player.
Jack Howarth was my rookie of the year by seasons end, but he didnt play enough in the early rounds so didnt have a chance.Iro was my rookie of the year. Galvin look like a good prospect but with the media hype comes pressure so not sure if he can maintain his good string of games.
Yep, all fair points. No doubt there is, subconsciously if anything, more weight given to being a half - the biggest responsibility in the game - as a rookie. Particularly in an awful team like the Tigers.Dunno if Galvin was really "head and shoulders" above? Huh?Matua won't be a fan of Tongan back rower Eliesa Katoa doing a haka!
Wouldn't it be great if they were playing for a promotion to NRL first grade?Jets v Devils has been a good watch so far. Amazes me how few people there and watch all 3 games, I was there when the gates opened every year I went
No question for me tonight, Penriff all the way.
Great game of footy with a big comeback. Shame that ref made that howler with a minute to go but their own fault they didn’t have a challenge left.
I had no choice in '11 because the Warriors were in all three grades!Amazes me how few people there and watch all 3 games, I was there when the gates opened every year I went.

I'm all in on the Riff, I would love to see a four-peat. Five GFs in a row is insanity.Jets v Devils has been a good watch so far. Amazes me how few people there and watch all 3 games, I was there when the gates opened every year I went

How about the guy who was jettisoned by the powers that be and might win four in a row...!!! And his son, who was our ballboy and is now the best player in the game, maybe the best most clutch NRL player of all time?im thinking Storm. It all seems to be aligning and it would be just perfect Warriors karma to see Katoa get a premiership after he was jettisoned by the powers that be. I could be 100% wrong though.
