Tedesco had an exceptional year, probably close to his best at NRL level.

They all got lucky Tom was injured

I thought Grant had a down year, but no real standout 9 this year

Its amazing how posts get misconstrued. I was remarking how thatwasnthighrefs multi picks were all correct except he went for Dylan Edwards at fullback.

Not many win a comp in their Dally M year, can Hughes join the list. Was a big gap between 1986 and 2008, although Gower would have gotten it in 03

That's really enlightening looking at it like that.... looks like Taumalolo is the only non-spine player to win it since Gavin Miller in 88-89. Makes sense when thinking about it I guess, but shows what a beast Taumalolo was that year.
