The NRL should just have a rule if you make a sex tape (and it comes to light) you are getting suspended for 1 or 2 years. Just stamp it out.

Something has come of it already, two women have gone to the police and stated that they did not consent to being filmed and the dissemination of the video. Two women's lives have been pretty significantly impacted and he held the camera that resulted in that damage. Even if the charges are dropped or he was found not guilty in court, it is ridiculous and cold hearted to suggest nothing has come of this situation.

They say that after...The players involved (Not just talking this case) might have DM's from FB etc saying the opposite. Again like with JDB case we are only hearing one side of it. May now has to prove to court he didn't do it.

Not saying it is at all, the lass could have been pissed, high or anything and not been in control of the situation just saying it looks like she knows where the phone is.
Either way, consensual or not, it’s not how how you treat women. In fact, guilty or not, the blokes a pig

That is the thing. Whether or not there was a crime or not is different to whether or not you should film and send to mates

He didn't just fall into bed with her. There was clearly some sort of convo before. It might of been discussed before

The sex is clearly consensual and you can clearly determine that by watching the video. There is nothing in the video that can indicate that she consented to the videoing.

Of course they may have discussed it prior and agreed, for all we know she may have signed a models release, my point is that the fact that she looks at the camera does not indicate consent.

The fact that the two girls have gone to police would indicate a high level of dissatisfaction.

No one is saying it is consent but the 2nd video he is holding the camera in plain sight. So you can assume it was known about...Whether it was a lets film this and send to mates or not is the question.

How much is embarassment now though? You can't tell. Hopefully for Tyrone's sake there is a text msg or something to prove no crime. He said/She said type of thing are never good especially in the current climate

With a lot of the off season incidents so far and in consideration of whether a player should be stood down some of that would have to be tied into how those players would be regarded by opposition supporters, in this case (May) I wonder how Penthers fans will treat him as he runs on, particularly if there is any truth to the rumours regarding the girls father.

A reminder - this case is now before the courts.

Avoid speculating on "facts" and "evidence" unless you have a clear base (that is a link to something to support your claim).

why? there is nothing wrong with making sex tapes. the problem is consent to film + distribute ffs

The culture of doing these tapes and them being shared is hurting the game. I am not saying they cant do them just that the cost of doing them (and them coming to light) is you wont be playing in the NRL for 1 or 2 years.

Actually the prosecution has to prove he did.
He handed himself in at the police station and the police have gathered enough evidence to lay two charges on him.

He has yet to enter a plea, after which team the prosecution will indeed be aiming to prove the charges. May's legal defence will then depend on his plea. Should he plead not guilty then yes, his legal representatives will then need to demonstrate it did not happen as the prosecution claims.

I am an old man, I do not understand taping yourself, but whateves, young people do it.

Do not care.

The Furher does and is all powerful, his moral police will do something, like Iranians do.
