12-6, Manly. Halftime.

But the Storm have some momentum. A try before halftime and now some attitude early in the second.

Big Nelson v Brown seems to be the go-to rumble tonight.

This is proper footy !! Nathan Brown has been thrown into a Time Machine and thinks he is back in the 90s

What a soft penalty from Klein after halftime

Buckle up, Beave. You've invited Melbourne back in.

18-14, 15 mins left. It's a big, boisterous home crowd. It might be the difference.

Btw, Katoa might've lost Melbourne the game tonight. He threw a stupid pass that went to ground, when a more sensible play would've likely been a try. The Eagles went up town and scored, so a 12-point turnaround.

Bellemy will be ropible.

Disgraceful coaching from Seibold to take Jake off at that point, he is the defensive glue

young Hoppa can play. Gee I wish Rabs was still around just to hear him call Chan Kum Tong

Bloody beauty, surprised Klein didn’t find 5mins of added time there to get Melbourne over the line, that 6 again with a minute to go was an absolute disgrace

Well...here comes The Eagle Rock. Manly win 26-20 in a cliffhanger. The Storm weren't their usual selves there on the bell, flat-footed, disjointed, among outstanding Manly defence.

Earlier today, Cows (average) 42 beat Tigers (not very good) 28. Wests have lost eight straight. Holmes on report. Origin named on Monday, so Slater will be nervous.

Klemmer hip drop, penalty, no bin, 3 weeks

Holmes hip drop, sin bin, Queeeeeeeeeenslander, fine and free to play …
Speaking of Origin Olakau'atu had a quiet game yesterday. He did nothing wrong but he just stayed on the edges and didn't really get the ball.

I hope something as small as this doesn't affect his chances of a Blues debut?

New bullshit from bunker. They almost need their own thread.
Aside from union which has ridiculously complex rules, is there another competition that self harms as much as the NRL around officiating and interpretation?
