So the sun sets on the warriors 2024 campaign. Better luck next year. Up the wahs.
So mathematically impossible? 3pts from 8th with 6 games to go. You will have to break it down for me as to why we are gone. Mathematically we can get to 33pts. 32 is considered what needed to make the 8.

It's not over until Alan Johnson's old lady sings.

Ah, i haven’t run the numbers myself. Just going off what others were saying in here. Mad if we still have a mathematical chance.

It's just the vibe, man. As JJ wrote, if we were playing well we'd go full mathematical!

Ditto, the Broncos. I wrote them off but they can still get there, you might need one of those fancy scientific calculators you had in school, though.

Probably a 30 year sample size that suggests winning 5-6 games in a row is extremely unlikely, and needing 1 of the sides above to win 2 games less as well

Would take something epic, the more likely candidates would be the donkeys or bunnies (if Mitchell was playing).

Probably just the three teams with a legit chance of winning the competition this year, maybe just 2

Shut the gate, Penrith are going four-in-a-row.

The Storm may make a GF quite interesting but not enough to change things.

I'm not God, of course. In October it might not happen (injuries? Upsets?) but it probably will. Attack and defence, Penrith are just so far ahead of the rest of us.

In the salary cap era, and losing players because of their adherence to the rules, they are absurdly good…. Greatest team in my lifetime, I’d say

They are and it's also their attitude. They're up 46-4, throw an intercept, and then Tago chases it down, and stops the runaway try, like the GF depended on it.

We have Kosi.

46-10, Panthers. Final. Cleary three tries, seven goals.

The Titans look to be winning a thriller, it's up to their 297-game leader - Foran - to close it out.

I think I saw Tana Umaga in the Dolphins coaching box.

Edit: Foran does lead them home, 21-14, Titans. Final. The GC are on the same amount of points as Brisbane!

Pretty understated job from Hasler considering they started 0-6 from memory and haven’t had Tino all season. Good to see there are still some old dogs around not afraid of taking the field goal

Up the mighty Canterbury Rams

If we're death-riding our season then the Titans and Panthers did us a favour, whereas the Sharks and Rabbitohs did not!

Points diff going to come into play as well.
Win the next 2 and we won as many as we lost, which is normally a top 8 bench mark.
But don't see us pulling off 5 more in a row, energy isn't in the team.
