Honestly, it's popcorn season with this DCE stuff. There's a million different insights and rumours, I heard this and he said that sort of thing going on.

I say he ends up at the Rooters, in the belief he could, at a push, jag one last premiership there. Surely money can't be a driving factor? Going to the Phins, unless he has a personal reason for going there, seems silly.

Strong junior and family connections with the Dolphins would be the possible pull

Hooper and Carayannis say DCE approached Manly 12 months ago asking for a release which was knocked back. You only do that if you have something lined up, Chooks werent in a position to have him last year, has a smell of the Dogs to me

Manly have also apparently been keen on getting Jamal Fogarty since mid last year, Raiders knocked back his request to look at other offers at that point

Reallt quality interview from Jake last night, said he attended the young fellas funeral yesterday morning so shows how important this DCE stuff really is, but it won’t effect him at all because all he cares about is Manly. Asked if it might happen with him in the future and he said no chance

One man celebrating is Anthony Watmough, told the fans Manly will be fine without him, took me back to this tirade where he told everyone that he hates him haha

On Jake - dunno if it was the same interview but I thought he seemed a little annoyed too. Dunno if he's pissed at the circus, or pissed at DCE though.

Yeah there was a comment about how he did the announcement that could be taken that way

heard from a very good source a few years back that Jake and Tom couldn’t stand him, but they seem to have gotten along since

Watmough is a dick. He was always bitter against DCE and made that hate spread among the Manly squad.

He's the definition of a bad egg no club should have when things don't go his way.
