Brisbane in trouble so they invent a sin bin to help them out.

And Walsh starts some unnecessary pushing in the back.

18-12, Roosters. Halftime...and they win it 26-16, leading for most of the game. That's an upset of sorts, or are the Broncos still too up themselves to be a genuine threat? Madge, you'd think, would've reined that in.

Plus, Leniu went hard out! He even had a small clash with sideline reporter Thurston after the game. According to Leniu, Thurston is a 'f***wit'!

Penrith Stadium was an obvious fortress. I haven't been down there for a look but I'd presume a few things would be dismantled already.

Quite enjoy that from Leniu, he shouldn’t see any sanction either, no rules against telling someone what you think of them without getting physical

Apparently Thurston approached Spencer first, who wanted nothing to do with him but he wouldn’t leave him alone. Then he waited an hour to see Trent Robinson and have a whinge

I’m with Leniu on this.

I’m not watching but 30 mins and 0-0??
12-0, Sharks. Second-half. The NRL might not be impressed, but I'm also not watching, so it could be a cracker of a game, a great advertisement for rugby league in the west...

...it ended a bit of a thiller with Manly scoring late to make it 24-18 with one set to play. Cronulla held out.

Given we didn’t watch probably the game of the season

Sharks win against the bad guys

And the Cowboys are up 6-4, halftime. I don't really like Souths either...a bit of ruck-speed is needed by the Cowboys, everything else they're trying isn't working. Souths are up 10-6...

...10-all now, a 'great' Wighton try-saver turned out to be a hip drop. NQ score from the next set.

...and in again, 16-10. Poor defence from Souths. Thirteen mins left...another mistake, Wighton drops it cold in front of his line. NQ make no mistake, 22-10... eleven mins left, field-goal time!

Cowboys get a penalty upfield after desperately defending their line. NQ taking the two to win it... Drinkwater kicks it. 24-16, Cowboys...Souths get the short kick-off but then lose possession...and 24-16 Cowboys win.

A pretty good day's entertainment in WA. The Cowboys first-ever win in Perth. They lost their first three this season but have won the next three.

Now it's on to Darwin, and let the Eels win there.

Nice little stab-kick by Walker to set up the Fox. 24-12, Raiders. But the eels are back in it with 28 mins to go.

Walker's always had some sweet skills.

Will the Darwin heat be a factor in the final quarter?...it finishes 50-12, Canberra.

Flicked through the Manly game late last night, pretty poor effort with so much good ball early on going to waste, didn’t deserve to be that close

DCE was terrible, headless chook in attack and didn’t use Olakau’atu at all in the attacking half, the bloke is near unstoppable at times and was ignored set after set on their goal line

I might stop automatically tipping the Warriors just because they're my team. This weekend, after a poor start, from the Roosters through to the Raiders, I went brilliantly. Then the Storm brought things to a sudden halt. I knew they'd win. Next week I'm only going us because I think we'll win.*

* I thought we had the Titans.

LOL a Tiger throws a pass to Casper on the sideline, then smiles and points to his missing winger.

It's lucky they're well on top. 14-0.
