Yea man that's gotta be a risk. NRL really needs to sort this once and for all dont they. IMO it all stems from the lack of a transfer window where players wanting to move clubs while contracted don't have a mechanism to do so, and instead agitate for a release.

The RLPA keeps resisting and I see they're still against it even today because it wont stop the speculation. But the speculation is fine, its manageable, and you could argue it even adds to the theatre.

The issue is agents like Moses who, in order to secure a release, have absolutely no moral compass and will expose his own clients to public damnation in order to get what he wants.

If Galvin's mental health is genuinely at risk due to this whole mess, I'm struggling to see why the RLPA aren't reviewing their stance in the interests of the players they're supposed to represent.

I think Benji comes off really well here.

You just have to love rugby league, don't you? Other codes would kill for one a season of the storylines this game throws up week on week

Just watched The Fan from last night, interview with Galvin that was obviously recorded pre season, asked what it was like being handed his debut and having Benji as a coach

“It’s amazing, he is a hall of famer and 1 of the best 6s. For your coach to back you and be so confident in you makes you go out on the field with no worries which is the best thing for me. After games him telling me he is confident in me and trusts me makes my life easy and makes me enjoy the game I love playing”
