They’ve barely been injured for 5 years either, was a stat last year and it was insane how few players they’d used compared to all the other clubs. They are being bitten this season though. Now instead of guys like Turuva being the next cab up, you’re getting guys like Jenkins
Yep, but they had the credible talent, and almost all through their systems. Imo should be more dispensation for that.

Four premierships in a row and 5 grand finals was something I never thought was possible though… amazing

Remember when he was setting it up how many people were into Gus for his 5 year plan ? Bulldogs may now be on that path

26-10, Manly. Final.

Who's still tipping Penrith? I did but they seem done this year.

The ABC's Luke Lewis gave Cherry-Evans two points.

He made some nice plays in the 2nd half, but if he thought he was better than more than 1 of Olakau’atu, Simpkin, Bullemore, Taukieaho and Tevaga he is kidding himself

Nice work Manly sending the Panthers to the bottom of the ladder for the week! The Cows putting the fifty curse on the Titans sets up an interesting one for us next week too, hopefully means the boys will be switched on at home.

This whole weekend has been painful. The game is absolutely fked at the moment. Not even union was this messed up when they first cracked down on head contact.
I will say at least it’s been even though. I haven’t seen a game yet where the head high sin bins have massively screwed a team.

It's Magic Round, so we're in Brisbane.

That's the issue this game gets itself into when it goes into clampdown mode. This is a more vexed issue because it regards the head, whereas in the past it's been play the ball, obstruction and more minor problems.

Friday night was more galling because Marata went after a minute, but so many of these now are copping 10 minutes because the other guy slips. Which is f**ked, it's a fast game, it's a tough game...every now and then, you're going to cop one in the head. Unless we start tackling below the sternum.

The Luai on Kosi started it, and in hindsight that's just something we as fans have to live with. OK, Kosi went off for an HIA (and passed it, I remember) and they didn't lose Luai, but he was banned. Yes, we seem to be disadvantaged but the game isn't 100% fair, and you can't make it so.

Mind you, the good teams can defend with 12 for a period of time.

The NRL is truly f**ked. The 4-time premiers are dead last. And they've scored more points than the 1st placed Dogs.

Who would have thought leaky D would be their demise?

Tried to do some stalking today, couldn’t find the Warriors, found the Knights having their captains run but they wouldn’t let us have a look which was a bit of a shame.

Young fella got a photo with Fisher-Harris yesterday afternoon so that’s the best we’ve got so far. Asked him today who he is looking forward to seeing the most tomorrow night, and Tuaupiki is his man
Kid's got a good eye.
