What are you trying to say with that statement?

Your = possessive.

So that statement means what?

You can't possess a scared.

So, that's not right is it.

So, what is the correct sentence?

You're is short for you are...

Say the sentence out loud like this...

"You are scared to try"...

Shorten it to "you're scared to try"..
