Two articles arguing opposite positions from the Roosters coaching braintrust. Even if this was orchestrated, I congratulate them both.

The best way to overcome the apathy that's currently present is to build a genuine rivalry - make the game mean something. Both of these articles are trying to appeal to our sense of pride in the NRL, by making the loss more painful. That can only boost the motivation to win these games, which will in turn lift the profile of the game.

no, lets be honest now and stop the bullsh*t nrl is much srtronger than superleague in terms of quality teams, but what i am saying is that teams like saints, leeds, bradford, wigan, hull and even warrington would all give top nrl teams a game and my mind if my team st helens where to play in the nrl then i believe wed finish in the top 3 or 6 FACT

i dont think they would at all they would finish outside the 8 i reakon easy no bullshit...

see in the ESL there are easy beats where as in the NRL there arent, i reakon even teams like souths this year v st helens, would be a even match. Souths lose in the NRL because we are a superior league in the ESL i reakon even souths would finish in the top 6. truth

o'meley = bailey (good props) o'meley is better

ryan = jones buchanan (not much comparison except there both back rowers) ryan is streets ahead though

utai = bai (strong wingers but good in attack, utat kills bai in defense) utai is better

harris = senior (both good wingers) i would rate senior better

sherwin = mcguire (both top halfbacks) i would rate them equal.

now lets take out these players and see how leeds look...
