Well, I guess, the only thing that happened to him was that people now think of him as a failure because of the silly expectations.

Of course he isn't a failure - he has a decent job and has been playing semi-pro football for years -- more that most of us who have ever laced on a boot have done!

Mark Luland - Centre for Wenty JBC 2007 & 2006. Played many years of P/L for Balmain. Played 5 games in 1st grade in 1999.
Simon Micallef - Wing for Wenty JBC 2007. Previously Flegg and Ball for Parra.
Jacob Byrne - 5/8 Played for Wenty JBC & Metro from about 2002. Previously with cabramatta and St George
Brad Capovilla - Prop/2nd row - Played about 20 seasons with Wenty plus a few years in 1st Division (P/L) for Parra and Wests.
Luke O'callaghan - Prop for Wenty JBC 2007 & 2008. Played about 8 years with Ryde Eastwood.
Mark Fakahua - bench backrow for Wenty in 2007. Previosly played for Asquith, St Clair, Balmain P/L and Newtown P/L
Ben Bailey - Hooker played for Wenty JBC 2003-2007. Joined Wenty in 2001 in reserve grade and then played A Grade in early 2003 before winning the JBC spot. Previosly played with Penrith 1st Division, Ryde Eastwood reserve grade and North Sydney 1st Division. Parra Marist junior.
Alf Betham = Prop played for Mounties JBC and Parra P/L in 2007. Rugby union convert played his first season of League for Penrtith Bros in 2006 before being graded by Parra.
Brett Sargeant – lock played for Wenty JBC 2004 to 2007. Played 1st grade for Cronulla. Parra Marist junior.

yeah..he played a bit of Halfback with the Auckland Lions last year and by all accounts was quite handy also, I'm very interested to see how he goes.

well we have Anthony Mitchell a junior kangeroo who's been training with the fulltime squad, he's a very very talented dummy half runner and a brilliant young hooker and Ray Nasso is at Manly this year.

Marty could also be an option I suppose but I'm more intrigued to see him at half than hooker tbh.

Eelavation, could you go through the Parra full time squad and pick the top line up for NRL and then see who is left for State Cup (assuming no injuries/suspensions) so we can see who from the Parra part time squad would be available for Wenty JBC/A Grade when the clubs are at full strength.
