It happens when we don't wrap up the ball carrier or work from the inside. We were poor in defence in the middle and Newtown turned up with a point to prove.

True... just wondering who you believe has a real chance of winning this competition?

For me I believe this could be a Bankstown Bulls and Central Coast Storm final.

Cronulla Sharks, Wentworthville Magpies, Western Suburbs, Norths Sydneys Bears, Balmain Ryde-Eastwood Tigers each have a right to be there come play offs but will need to have all guns firing to put off either of the top 2 teams. And to be honest there isnt much really splitting these teams apart.

Auckland Vulcans, Newtown Jets and Windor Wolves will need to show some consistent form if they are to have any real chance of fighting out for the 8th spot. Not really expecting too much from either of these 3 teams but should they pull a rabbit out of the hat then they could be a spent force upsetting any of the top 7 teams. With nothing to lose and everything to gain this could be the motivation needed to upset the big boys of the competition.

why is the State cup an 8 team finals series that is ludicrous and just makes it look like a shamateur league

With a couple weeks to go im liking the Sharks to win it, as much as i want Wenty to theyve hit a massive brick wall atm and cant buy a win
