This. He's a good lad. QUEENSLANDER!!He doesn't want to play for NSW. There was a big drama about him wanting to be a QLDr. Even Mal came out in support of him.

f**k you Aaron woods.Pearce will probably play
Mitch is a brilliant supporting half, didn't you see the way he helped set up Munster several times in game 3?Be interesting to see if the Qld expected squad stay fit leading into Origin...
Would hate to see a couple of prominent Storm players get an early retirement...be a real shame if Smith or Slater didn't get the winning send-offs they deserve...
In all seriousness though, if the NSW forwards finish the job (unlike last year) then whoever gets picked for the #7 will have less of an impact. Pearce's weakness is that he's yet to take control of a rep game. His kicking is limited mostly to putting up the high ball and he can't pull something out of the bag like Cronk can. His strength is that he is a sound defensive player (as shown in the past fortnight) and he's a quick runner of the ball. If he gets space in the middle of the field he can cover a lot of distance before flicking it off his left or right shoulder for a support player to score off.
I reckon if picked he'll play little hand in NSW winning or losing OR he'll have a big series against a Qld team who are complacent/ past their best and all the "I told you so" masturbators will come out in force. I mean, Lockyer didn't stand out at Origin level until he was 29 either...
His greatest flaw is his inability to handle fatigue. It's why cronk and smith have absolutely decimated us over the years. Their decision making while under fatigue is still excellent.Be interesting to see if the Qld expected squad stay fit leading into Origin...

There's no-one else. Cleary is injured, Moses is out of form, who else is there?Pearce will probably play

ExactlyThey could get Maloney to play halfback and Moylan to five eighth which worked well in Game 3 2016. Jack Bird or Keary could play halves as well.
We have Morgan and Munster, perfect symmetry with all the m'sExactly
6. Moylan
7. Maloney
Easy.
Lockyer at 18 could play Mitchell off the parkBe interesting to see if the Qld expected squad stay fit leading into Origin...
