NSW going forward

His greatest flaw is his inability to handle fatigue. It's why cronk and smith have absolutely decimated us over the years. Their decision making while under fatigue is still excellent.

Some players have it, some don't. Pearce does not.
Did you see him in game 3 last year? Was it his fatigue which led to his inability to cover Holmes for the opening try of the game? Cause if is he should concentrate on his fitness more since that try came in the opening 20.

Just look at this idiocy, he started off by jogging and finally decided to run AFTER Holmes received the ball and not when he stepped back on the inside and was setting himself up for the inside pass. How can anyone who knows anything about footy be stupid enough not see that one coming let alone the multiple time origin halfback.

I said his greatest flaw, not his only flaw.

Also remember that the Maroons are going with a totally new combination this year and no Cronk and Thurston is going to peg them back and level out the teams to some extent

QLD don't lose much with Munster and Morgan and Milford.

The first two in particular are already proven match winners when a game is on the line.

DCE was meant to be the next QLD superstar, And he got Shane Warned. Morgan is useless in representative.

I'm reading shit about Pearce, Dugan, etc again.

Yes Dugan was NSW best back last series, but how many chances you want to give the bloke to tow the line? There comes a time when character needs to be questioned. You'd think this whole shit with the Aussie cricket team will have Fittler thinking about this too. The fat red texta should already be put through the names of Fergo, Dugan, Hayne, Pearce & Graham, with a red dot next to Woods & Fifita, ....all those guys that had massive brain farts on and off the field when discipline was required. Ability is one thing, but counts for nothing when your leadership - that's what each of those players are for NSW - consistently fails. Having one great game in 3 or 4 means shit too. You need to be exceptional in at least 2 Origin games each year to win the series. Guys like Woods and Fifita have an outstanding performance and then become a sack of shit when the blowtorch is applied.

I understand Fittler will be judged on this series first and foremost, but he needs to also look at the long-term too. He won't be punted after this series unless there is an absolute catastrophic event or outcome.

he got judged on one game, where he didn't take any reps with the team in training in the lead-up to that game due to his own injury issues. they lost the series and he was the scapegoat. that was Hagan/Meninga's f**k up and DCE has paid the price since.

How do you explain cherry Evans f**king it up in 2015 where he was out pointed by Hodkinson and Pearce and was dropped from the team. In game 1 2014 QLD had so many chances and DCE came up with nothing after all the commentators raved about him. How do you explain him failing with the Kangaroos as the leading halfback?

We don't even know if Fifita is going to be available for NSW. To do so he has to declare to play for Australia, which means he has to forego playing for Tonga. I read a media article earlier this year he was undecided and was not going to make up his mind until closer to the series.

I’ve been hearing some talk about Debelin making a possible origin debut this year. Do people really think he is going to start ahead of Trobevich who is the best lock in NSW and the 2nd best behind Taumololo. Debelin would be on the bench.

Straight swap for RCG

Who NSW pick in the #7 is of less importance than who they pick in the forwards. Got an abundance of them coming through and, done right, they could truly finish what they failed to do so last year and nullify whoever Qld have in their halves. Just so long as plodders like Sharon don't get picked FFS...

I'm a massive fan of JDB, but I don't think he'd start ahead of jurbo.

He'd still be a much better option from the bench than josh Jackson.

Couldn't agree more. All of those mentioned need the Red texta put through them.
Plenty of fresh, new and in form players desperate and hungry to show what they can do on the big stage.
Woods and Fafita not required when you have Vaughan and McClean waiting for an opportunity.
Dugan and Ferguson easily replaced with Trbojevic and Addo Carr.
Graham offered nothing from the bench either. Happy to see Debelin or another youngster get an opportunity.
Cordner on very thin ice as well. He is doing jack for the Roosters.

RCG won't miss out and Graham was pretty good besides the ill discipline. Cordner needs to be f**ked off.

11. Wade Graham
12. Tyson Frizell
13. Jake Trbojevic

14. Jack De Bellin/Nathan Brown/Angus Crichton

This would be ideal but unfortunately Cordner will be picked.
