NSW going forward

What did Graham do?

#1: A careless strip on Gagai with 6 minutes left in Game 2, penalty Qld which got them out of their own half and they scored in the next set.

#2: A near identical strip in Game 3, just after NSW had scored and Qld looked rattled. It gave Qld possession, they scored from the ensuing set and killed off any momentum NSW had.

I'd like a squad minus players who make stupid brain-farts like these at key moments OR who have a shit work-ethic (Sharon)

i know but you did say if fergo stays in this form, you'd have him on the wing.

He does seem to have his head screwed on right for this season and seems a lot fitter. His stats for the first 3 rounds are crazy good

If he keeps it up I’m not against him being in the side tho

If the wingers are Addocar and Fergo, there isn't a place for him. Unless you drop Teddy.

I was thinking he’d do a job in the centres

I’d go

1. Teddy
2. Fergo
3. Bird
4. Turbo
5. Addo-Carr
6. Keary/Maloney
7. Cleary/Maloney

There’s a ton of changes needed to be made imo. But with everything set up for us to win last year and failing quite miserably what’s the worst that could happen? Another loss?

Forwards I was hoping something like

8. Klemmer
9. Peats
10. Vaughn (Woods will be there though unfortunately)
11. Cordner
12. Friz
13. Jurbo

14. De Belin
15. RCG
16. Fifita
17. Graham (could also play that utility role if someone goes down in the backs)

Last year I'd have had bird in the centres. This year I'll reserve judgement until he's played some proper game time, but at the moment he's not the best eligible centre at his own club.

I’d pick him based on he’s been pretty damn good and reliable at origin level. But agree, would need to show some form during the lead up

We don't even know if Fifita is going to be available for NSW. To do so he has to declare to play for Australia, which means he has to forego playing for Tonga. I read a media article earlier this year he was undecided and was not going to make up his mind until closer to the series.

Haven’t they changed the eligibility rules? Or was that just the RLIF, and the ARLC still require you to play for the kangaroos?

There has to be room for both Turbo and Tedesco. They are simply too good to leave out, and there aren't too many specialist wingers demanding selection anyway. Queensland has never suffered from having Boyd on the wing.

Can still remember how you inbreeds whinged and whined to the hills about QLD selections for game 1 last year. Lockyer was being called a muppet on talkback radio.
That was proven correct wasnt it?
QLD sabotaged themselves for game one last year and still won the series lol..

In this circumstance, Tedesco has be on the wing. A position he hasn't played. Trbojevic is too good in the midfield with ball in hand to be wasted on the wing. No Tedesco for me.

Please.

They hobbled across the line in Game 2 and were there for the taking in Game 3. If it weren't for the fact Daley was completely out of ideas and allowed NSW to get away with some dumb footy, it would've been a bloodbath.

I hope Qld are complacent going into this series...
