NSW Origin

Would be very NSWesque to pick Luai and Yeo only to waste their combination s with Cleary by having them on the bench.

Pretty pointless using Yeo if he's not lock and a link man for Cleary. Likewise Luai if he's not srarting with Nathan.

There will be no club combination in use for the game from the undefeated team. To'o will be on right edge with no combination with anyone. Nathan wont have anyone he links with from Panthers either. Just seems f**king pointless and stupid picking players and not using the advantage they provide.

Then everyone will blame Cleary for not winning. The cycle of NSW Origin.

So long as our pack doesn't bitch it like last year he should be fine. Ridiculous he cops last years loss despite being our only spine player doing anything behind a pack that was absolutely murdered. Cook and Walker let him down as did the forwards. Teddy was injured early so couldnt do much.

From memory Crichton was outstanding, Tupou had a good game, Cleary did well and that's about it. Queensland destroyed our pack and won easily.

His game 2 last year was the best rep game by a 7 since Joey

And Game 3 when the series was on the line or the GF?

That was a good performance no denying. There were 17 atleast 8/10's in the squad then too which is why the side won.

Even his biggest haters have to admit he has been the best player in this comp. last Regular season was too.

Even week 1 of the finals ( which wasn't sudden Death) he was good.

Needs a good series here. 3 very good games...

If it turns out QLD hosts 2 games. Likely lose the series but as long as he and the other Panthers go well. Is good for going the next step

Game 3 he was good and let down by bad selections, bad bench rotation and a forward back that played like total cats.

Game 3 he was our best spine player. Did more than Cook and Walker behind a forward pack that went nowhere.

The second you start expecting halves to do more than he did in a side destroyed across the park you have unrealistic expectations.

He had a drop out, a 40/20 and a try assist in a game where his forwards got dominated. Queensland dominated possession 57% to 43%. And the whole game was played in NSW half.

Honestly he didn't do much Game 1. But Game 2 and 3 it's damn near impossible to do better than he did in the circumstances.

The forward pack shat itself with Siafiti who got owned badly.

Look at that QLD side. They should of been smashed the fact they lost the series says more about NSW then QLD.

That said. There have been club games Broncos recently where we have struggled as a side but he has produced more then that game.

Smug Panther mentioned Joey. How many times would Joey put in less than 7/10 out of 10 in the NSW jersey. Same to Fittler.

That is what is needed to put him in the elite class. Instead of the very good he is at now.

I am not expecting much this origin. The new rules will likely lead to very limited 13 on 13 footy.

If the Panther guys put in 7/10 performances in all 3 grades then I will be happy. It sets up nicely for a better performance comes finals.

A NSW series win is just icing on the cake
