If Taylor has any real say in the selection process no Tigers wil be there as he and their coach Paul Fletcher have a long running dislike and Rip is not professional enough to overlook it.

best for the storm have been

Widdop
Makimare
Rogers
& chase stanley has been very good but missed the first 2months
I'd add Kelly, Chaill, Isa, Chisholm and Kostjasyn to that list too.

And as we saw tonight, Justin O'Neill is a pretty good winger/fullback as well.

Storm were very good again today in beating BRET.

A lot of very good young players in their side. They are definitely grand final contenders this season.

Yeah Chisholm has come on strong the last 2 months, was very ordinary before that though. Had a poor attitude to start the year and the coaches definately were'nt happy with him. Not coincidently imo his return to form coincided with his good mate Matt Duffie' elevation to 1st grade.

Reckon that stung him a bit.

I heard Tame Toupou was rubbish and still has feet for hands.

Any thoughts as you were there?

Tupou looked to be very unfit. He stood out at centre, saw little action in attack or defence and only lasted an hour and when he came off the field, he looked spent.

Everytime he got the bot to hit it up, he did this weird stutter step before he hit the defensive line which effectively killed all his momentum and he was easily handled defensively.

Someone that big (he's 118kgs I believe) should hit the line hard and should be a handful to contain.

The young Storm pack easily looked after him. Defensively, he rarely rushed up, instead opting to do not much at all.

Admittedly it was his first game since last year, but his lack of fitness was the one thing which surprised me most.

NSW Residents has Nathan Waters at halfback and Geoff Daniella in the centres so based on the halfback alone we will be lucky to score a try. He is dog sh*t
