God no. Maybe Ray Cashmere or Luke Douglas, not Poore, he can't catch.

Order of NSW props IMO, judging by players in form this year that will still be in NRL next year:

NSW

Bailey, Kite, Cross and Mason (backrow/prop)

City

O'Meley, Cashmere, Galloway and Cuthbertson (backrower/prop)

Country

Douglas, White, Poore, and Sims (backrower/prop)

...

as for genuine backrowers, they should really look at Heighington, Watmough, Creagh, Glenn Stewart (a workhorse with ball skills), Paterson, M Minichiello.

Too early? Who cares, let's move on.

One would think Buderus and Fitzgibbon wont be there, so..

1 Kurt Gidley
2 Jarryd Hayne
3 Mark Gasnier
4 Matt Cooper
5 Chris Lawrence or Josh Morris
6 Todd Carney
7 Peter Wallace
8 Willie Mason (C)
9 Robbie Farah
10 Luke Bailey
11 Nathan Hindmarsh
12 Anthony Laffranchi
13 Feleti Mateo
--
14 Greg Bird
15 Mark O'Meley
16 Chris Heighnington
17 Ben Hornby
all bolded no, and gidley not at fullback. urs was the first post, so I picked on this squad, sorry haha

If Soward gets selected next year, he'll be one of the worst origin players of all time. Only just shaded by some of the players in this year's NSW side.

A) Has hands like feet
B) He is over-rated

And for EVERYONE selecting Mateo...FFS he isn't eligible...how many times does it need to be said...

isnt meteo only ineligible this year? if so then next year for mine would be:

stewart
hayne
cooper
gasnier
jennings
carney
wallace
(and if unavailable than orford, not some young player who is the recent media darling, such as the next johns, knights legend successor mullen, and son of a nsw legend, coached by a nsw legend pearce)
cross
Farah
Bailey
watmough
laffranchi
bird

gallen
lewis
kite
meteo

shadow utility=gidley (i just think as a utility lewis offers more, and gidley is only effective as a fullback, which should be wrapped up by stewart IMO, I hear gidley was moved their because of his connection with buderus?)
shadow prop=douglas
shadow second rower=heington

What's with the Manly fans

Also, Trent Barrett could be interesting.

Will probably be the first selected at 5/8th.

Anyone that doesn't have Creagh in their team should ring him & apologise.

IMO there's no better Blues backrower.

And why the firk hasn't anyone mentioned Barrett (not that I've seen) ?

Can say what you want about him at club level, but in Origin he's lethal.

I mentioned, and yes he is good at Origin. As a QLD'er, I'd be way more worried if he was in the team then Carney or Mullen. WAY more worried

1. Stewart
2. Monaghan
3. Gasnier (if still in league)
4. Cooper
5. Covell... No not really but is safe under the high ball! - Need a winger he can jump i dont know who.
6. Carney
7. Wallace
8. Kite
9. Farah
10. Bailey
11. Gallen
12. Bird
13. Mateo

14. Creagh
15. Douglas
16. Laffranchi
17. Up For Grabs

My side has a spot on the wing and bench... but it is important that the wing spot has someone who can defuse bombs well (including jumping) and the bench sport either prop or utility.

Because that would depend on his form when he is playing in Australia again.

I hope he plays good enough to get there, but im cautious.

Going on the basis that the Roosters retain Fitzgibbon.

Agreed, Mason as captain.
Mason can't even spell captain

Yeah is Mason actaully going to be captain? That I find ridiculous

I'd have Bird captain. He'll be there for the next 5 years or more. He seems a good choice

I think Gids proved last night that fullback is the only position he should be playing at club, state or country level. It will be a toss up between him and Stewart for the Blues #1 jersey next year
