I'd like to see names like Sutton, Creagh, Mateo, Jennings, Heighington in the mix next year.

Call me crazy but I have a feeling Craig Wing could be in the mix next year as well. Looks as sharp as ever.

Gidley has the edge over Stewart for fullback.

Will be interesting to see if Trent Barret puts his hand up as well. Would help having an experienced 5/8 outside a young half (Wallace, Carney, Mullen, Pearce).

I think Gids proved last night that fullback is the only position he should be playing at club, state or country level. It will be a toss up between him and Stewart for the Blues #1 jersey next year

Creagh, Mateo, Heighington are all solid and tough, ideal for SOO.

I like mateo and Carney at 6 and 7. because they are big bodies and solid defenders. NSW needs to get bigger to stop the the athleticism of QLD. Mateos big body can match inglis/folau.

I think a fully fit Luke O'Donnell is what we missed.. someone who is aggressive and can play, a million times better than Gallen.
