Putting a second rower at centre simply doesnt work. We need speed and skill outwide

If Lewis/Scott/Williams was at right centre in game 1 we lose. BMoz was instrumental in NSW first try showing speed and positioning no back rower could match

Yes, I am well aware of this. Lewis have played centre in the pass, but you don't know the outcome of the game?? But I guess with the speed of the game, its more fitted for a specialist centre and winger. It was an idea to fit our inform players from the original team in Game 1. Now we have to make room for Bird or maybe Daley has other plans. However, I don't mind seeing Hopoate and Mansour that will probably make more sense. That leaves out one player from the original team list of Game 1.

The "experts" plumping for Dugan in the side, either at fullback or in the centres. How dumb are they?

On form, Hayne is the best option available for NSW. Dugan's form has not been as good as Hayne's. Further why would you move Hayne to a position (namely centre)where he will see less ball? That is cutting off your nose to spite your face. Dugan prefers to run the ball himself and not pass, Hayne has no problem passing and has a very good passing game.

Then the same one saying put Beau Scott in the centres to mark Inglis. I mean same stupid idea as Bird at five eight. You might improve your defence but it is at the cost of your attack. It is, in my opin ion, a stupid idea to put a backrower in the centres.

Good side Maple. The only change I would make is Dylan Walker in the centre with Hopoate to the wing.

Every time I see Walker he will be a long term Origin player.

Good! This was another idea I was getting at. Are you sure Fifita is healed by rd13? Well obviously one has to take into account rd14 is the bye week for origin players. Unless you're thinking of Fifita not playing any match fitness games at all and heading straight into origin? I see you left out Hoffman.

Fifita is planning on playing this week I think. Either way we will find out this afternoon

Laurie Daley said the right center will be a rookie, so looks like Hoppa is out. Should be either Walker or Wighton

Where did he say that? It could also be Lafai, but besides those 3 I can't think of anyone else it could be

surely cant give it to Walker over Hoppa? hoppa played origin and has shown he deserves to be in origin, Walker is getting better no doubt he'll be there in a few years but think Hoppa's origin experience will benefit NSW better not to mention Hayne finding room and linking up with hoppa as they do at Parra, same with Mcmanus over Mansour/Taufua. Experience > Youth.

He said that it is likely to be a rookie, he also said he thinks he needs a big body to contain inglis. Putting 2 and 2 together I think it might be BJ Leilua.

I'd choose either Mansour or McManus for that wing spot. McManus won't let anyone down but if we are going for more then mansour would have no problem switching wings and his metres would be great for our pack and put him one on one with Boyd and that's an easy try. Only issue is thurston could really target him with the kicks...

If hes going to pick Joey Leilua then the chances are his outside man McManus will also get a call up for the wing

They are both left side players currently but can shift right if needed

Why exactly? Its not like Boyds defence is shit

As a Knights fan I like Leilua but he is one of the greatest examples of rocks & diamonds. He's big, strong, can tackle and also is a massive grub who will get under the QLDers skin, but if he's chosen and has an off night with his ball handling it will give QLD a massive advantage.
