Its not actually do or die. Agree that Morris is extremely hard to replace, i'd go with Hoppa I think, he was 18th man and been there before.

I reckon it is. We have about a 0.0001% chance of winning up there twice in a series. We have to wrap this up in Sydney or we're gone.

Depending on injuries, a winning team should always remain the same. Now that Bird is back, that adds extra mongrel in the side. As for Fifita, the NRL/Cronulla casualty ward is due back in rd15/16?? Unless, he is recovering before rd15 or Wednesday 18th June - Game 2. Its still a risk to play fifita, with no match fitness. Will see who Daley decides with.

1. Hayne
2. Tupou
3. Jennings
4. Lewis - Yea I know what you're thinking
5.
Hopoate
6. Reynolds
7. Hodkinson (gk)
8. Woods
9. Farah
10. Tamou
11. Bird
12. Hoffman/Beau
13. Gallen (c)

14. Merrin
15. Beau/Hoffman
16. Watmough
17. T-Rex

I would like to see T-rex in the side again but its a tough decision to make. If Brett is definitely out then we are looking at a winger and centre replacement. I think Hopoate will get selected. It's still a good team to beat QLD.

UP THE BLUES!!

That would be my team.

Lewis and Beau to contain Inglis.

If the attack is around Hayne, it will not be an attacking issue as Hayne likes to go himself or cuts out the centre to the wing.

It is how he atttacks for Parra.

I think Hoppa would struggle to contain Inglis.

Only change I would make is probably Fafita for Tamou

Been tried and failed in the past. Would be a stupid move imo

Couldn't take Tamou out, his runs when we were getting belted on our own line were massive for us. I'd only bring in Fifita if he has a massive game this weekend for the Sharks and even then I'd only have hime replace Williams on the bench. Also Bird in a straight swap for Hoffman.

Is Kane Linnet that much worse than the blokes being mentioned???

BJ doesn't have a brain in his head at times. As someone said above, rocks or diamonds. Big, strong and _ _ _ _.

If we're tossing about good club players like Kane Linnett and BJ Leulia then we should probably throw Chris Lawrence's hat in the ring too.

That being said, the blokes selected in the City v Country match should be next in line, so the centre gig should go to Wighton or Walker.

Forget about containing Inglis, we need a player who can link with Hayne and has speed to burn. Hoppa has that club combo with Hayne but let's see how well he does this week. ATM it's a toss up between:

Will Hoppate
Jack Wighton
Dylan Walker

Walker is the fastest. Wighton has the best defence and Hoppa knows Hayne's game pretty well.

People now are realising just how important Josh Morris was for NSW. I can't believe some people were leaving him out of the team at the beginning of the year!

My thoughts exactly on Lewis and Beau. But its a 50/50 call to make. I think this is a list of combinations for a new centre and winger:
- Hoppa, Mansour, Lewis, Scott, Michael Gordon, Tafua, Whiton, Walker, BJ Leilua, and McManus.

I think if Hoppa/Lewis/Scott are not selected for that position then maybe someone like Whiton, and Mansour.

Are we all on the same page Fifita is injured and unavailable?? Are they really going to risk it and play him for Game 2 with Cronulla having a bye next week? http://www.sharks.com.au/news/2014/06/04/sharks_injury_report_june_4.html

I think Williams should be included. He is a player who is hard to contain once he gets going. I believed if he runs it more often without passing it, then we should really see T-Rex monstrous runs like what he did to JT. That is the reason why he was called T-Rex...don't you think!

We will get carved up if Scott's in the centres again. We will literally need 24-30 points to win the game if that bald slug's out there marking up on Inglis. I'm confident Hoppa would step up for the job and I wouldn't mind someone like McManus coming in for the vacant wing spot. He's reliable, can sniff out a try and has played SOO before.

J. Moz really is a big loss for us, he is an absolutely brilliant defender.

Given the "no d*ckheads" policy they had for Game 1, I assume this will continue for the rest of the series so the likes of Dugan, Fifita, etc will not be seriously considered. If they want a been there done that type of player they would go:

Centre - Luke Lewis
Wing - Anthony Minichello

I thinking picking Beau Scott at centre is the dumbest thing Sterling has ever said.

Have we forgotten what happened in 2010? Go in there with a defensive mindset, & we're not going to win.

Our right hand attack was our most dangerous, both tries on that side of the field. Scott would stifle it completely, & Hayne will be left to do it all himself. There's no way Scott is ever going to pass to the winger. Does anybody think B Morris was has scored the first try if Scott was his centre partner? f**k no.

I can't believe Sterling, one of the best minds in RL, is actually suggesting this. It could be a disaster.
