Thats only cos Cam Smith hogged it all night, Hill was calling for it plenty of times with King and Geyer outside him but Cam looks at Scotty and passes the other way. This happens week after week.
If you watched Storm vs Eels when Cam Smith wasnt playing for SoO. Hill had plenty more ball and played awesome, set up a few trys.

Fact is he had a ordinary game. Make all the excuses you want but the fact is if you are borderline in terms of Origin, you need to play a blinder. Hill didn't. Simple as that.

You dont have to play a blinder to get into Origin, Hill has played very well
over the last month, and some players have been picked for less then good form.
