we need attacking people who know how to defend. It's blatantly obvious. You can't score tries when you select a side that only knows how to tackle.

Anasta is a very long way out of his depth and should never be selected for any rep duties again.

Hayne is useless.

King hit his peak last season, we're now witnessing his journey back down the other side of the hill towards his retirement.

Buderus looks too scared to get involved. He just passes from dummy hald and tackles. If thats all that the hooker has to do, then get Payten to play hooker, he can do the passing thing and the tackling thing.

Simpson offers nothing.

Ryan is not a lock, he's a second rower. I wish the selectors would realise this.

I've been saying before origin I sides were announced, that Brett stewart should be in the side. About f**king time he got the nod.

Mullen should not be considered for origin for at least another 2-3 seasons. he's not up to it yet.

I wish Lance Thompson was available, I'd have him in the starting line up, move Gallen to the bench, and dump Hindmarsh.

I think you're pretty close to the mark.

The only thing that may differ is one of either Bailey or White will go, Mason to prop which will allow Paul Gallen, Anthony Watmough or Anthony Laffranchi to start in the second-row. Alternatively, Steve Simpson to prop for White or Bailey freeing up a spot on the bench.

Eric Grothe Jnr. is a player I have been a fan of and his performance today should get him a jersey with King given a chance in his favoured left centre position.

My side would read (assuming Minichiello is out); Stewart, Grothe, King, Cooper, Hayne, Mullen, Kimmorley, Simpson, Buderus (c), Bailey/White/Kite, Mason, Hindmarsh, Ryan Res. O'Meley, Gallen, Bird & Laffranchi/Watmough.

Hoffman may keep his spot though and any one of Maitua, Laffranchi or Creagh could find themselves in ahead of Gallen/Watmough.

Geez, forgot about Ryan Hoffman - he won't be dropped and nor should he. I would be none surprised to see him start either.

With that said, my line-up is; Stewart, Grothe, King, Cooper, Hayne, Mullen, Kimmorley, Mason, Buderus (c), Bailey/White/Kite, Gallen, Hindmarsh, Ryan Res. Simpson, Hoffman, Bird & Laffranchi/Watmough.

Ben Creagh is a favourite of mine, what a player - he was awesome in defeat today for St George Illawarra.

NSW have some great depth in the backrow.

i think you are 95% right, though i think greg bird will play 5/8 over mullen and probably the bench is the same just gallen slots in for birds spot - though we must wait and see about the judiciary
