why else would the best dummy half runner in the game not take one run?

Yes, I am the stupid one

Your BS excuse for the ineffectiveness of Danny Buderus on Origin in 2007 and in particular last night is a very naive.

A quote that I should take heed of:

"Never argue with an idiot, they will beat you with experience"

With that, I will leave you to it mac - your one eyed BS opinion on Buderus isn't worth my time nor is your N.F.I critique of Kimmorley. You hear what you want to hear, go read the Newcastle Herald, I am sure all is fine and dandy in their world too with the performance of Buderus

 FACTS!?!?!

I ignored your stupid "fact" letting it slide but now, well, the joke is on you

Shall I remind you that Buderus was brilliantly smashed and driven backwards by Cameron Smith last night which led to a hissy fit from your Australian Idol

Please, stop now - your killing me and those reading your "love is blind" posts

1-Stewart
2-Minichello
3-Collis
4-Cooper
5-Hayne
6-Carney (If Available)/Mullen
7-Dobson
8-Luke Bailey
9-Robbie Farah
10-Mark O'Meley
11-Willie Mason
12-Nathan Hindmarsh
13-Gred Bird

14-Simpson
15-Ryles
16-Watmough
17-Gallen

The Bench could do with a proper utility, but I reckon agression's better. Bird can shift out to the centres and Minichello can come in and play a Halatau/Berrigan role for 10-15 minutes around the back end of the halves I suppose.

*edit* Methuselah (Beaver) Retired from Rep Football when it became apparent he was going to be selected for the Tri Nations squad last year.

I can see your white flag well and truly raised.

Surely Buderus is a senior enough player that he could have taken some initiative out there and started playing more out of dummy half when he saw the ground QLD were making doing just that.

Even if the game plan was to "pass it to Kimmorley" things can change once you get out on the football field, and being the captain of the side, I thought Buderus should have taken some initiative.

QLD were making tremendous metres out of the dummy half area and all Buderus was doing was shovelling it out to his forwards or to Kimmorley. If he'd have picked it up and run he could have made some good metres, imo.

Indeed. Queensland forwards looked out on their feet more than once.

Mayhaps both the Coach and Captain should fall on their swords and let others have a go now.

Kimmorley put Ryan into a gap but he didnt run the right line. Hindmarsh did not play his best and if he got dropped i wouldnt be unhappy but Ryan deserves to be kick more then Hindy does. Hindy had one bad game, Ryan has bad games all the time.

Kimmorley was doing all he could...I can recall 7 or 9 times he ran tot he line and took a hit because our Nuffy pack were being lazy and werent running off him...Thats why we need Watmough

1. Stewart
2. Grothe
3. Lyon/King (depends if Hayne's kicking is good enough)
4. Cooper
5. Hayne
6. Mullen
7. Kimmorley
8. Bailey
9. Buderus
10. Mason
11. Hindmarsh
12. Hoffman
13. Bird/Gallen

14. Farah
15. Watmough
16. Kite
17. Simpson

We just need someone with a bit of creativity at 5/8th. I mean, we have Anasta taking hit ups when we have a perfectly capable forward pack and our backs not getting any quality ball at all. With someone like Mullen outside him, Kimmorley may have better options than just going out wide for someone like Hindmarsh or Ryan to run it back infield.

1 Collis for lyons--and goal kicker (has kicked 13 out of 13 in 2007)

2 Farah has to be in the squad and its crazy to carry 2 hookers so by by danny boy

3 kite---should go and fly one--maybe Shriek or 40/20 from the raiders (looks forty but is only 20 michael wyman)

4--King gonnnnnneeee Eric Grothe Junior junior

5--Bob cat or hindmarsh but not both

6--young white another time another place but not SO III

7--Noody no 7 and mullens no 6

8--young stewart the no1 and let the count have a break

Get Farah weaving some cameron smith style magic around the ruck and the attack will follow

Lets do what Qld do and pick players that are up to origin not because they are performing well atr club level.Brent Kite and Braith Anasta prime examples.Brent Kite when on the field spend more time getting driven back the forward and Braith Anasta must be in bed with all media , he gets wraps even though he gives us nothing in attack, kicking game , all tries get scored on his side of the field.
Lets not worry about the future we need to pick a team to win in 3 weeks to get some credibility back.
New coach some player changes aren't the best , what about his support staff Royce Simmons assistant coach pleeasse

If fit I would go with the following

1.brett stewart
2.eric grothe
3.matt king
4.matt cooper
5.jarryd hayne
6.jarrod mullen
7.brett kimmorley
8.luke bailey
9.danny buderus
10.mark o'meley
11.nathan hindmarsh
12.steve simspon
13.paul gallen

14.kurt gidley
15.todd payten
16.willie mason
17.greg bird

at least Weyman would take Petero head off so I guess that is something

He hit someone high, build a bridge and get over it. It's not like he bit some bloke like some other props have done...
