Embarrassing that we know more about the game then the so called experts. Are you talking about Kent?

Haha what a wank stain, and yes I am

Still I reckon he’s about as likely as Brooks. Also didn’t realise he’s 28 that wouldn’t play into his favour that well

Apparently we love rugby league "royalty"

Pearce, grothe, hoppa, young, the morrii, peats

Moses and cleary would fit in.

Surely this Moses talk is just to take the media focus off Cleary. I could see Fittler selling Hooper a big 'scoop'.

Cleary is by a long way our best halfback. I feel for the kid though. Expecting miracles from him in his first series is unfair, and we NSW fans tend to be very unforgiving of anyone who doesn't instantly succeed. It sucks donkey balls that due to years of shitty selections we don't have a largely settled squad he can come into, but it is what it is. He has to be selected, and we have to give him time and not expect miracles.

Was good coming back from injury Cleary, good kicking causing problems and was always getting involved in the game.

He was good but still was a bit off the mark. He was huffing and puffing early on and some errors here and there. Should be fine for game 2.

He was flawless to me, all coming back from a bit of a holiday.

Another above average performance next week against quality opposition and you’d be mad to not pick him for game 1

Cleary performed well but still clearly out of shape. 7 weeks out, two games in and then an Origin debut? Don't know if his match fitness will be where it has to be. It would need to be a typical dominating game 1 performance from the NSW forwards to carry him a bit.

Fittler had the best position to see how he was going though. And no doubt Gould/penrith will give him some info on data output
